Andy Barlow is an god tier producer. One of the most underrated musicians of all time. Creative, innovative, and unique. Andy Barlow is the one in the purple shirt. He's the producer/instrumentalist of all the Lamb songs. Lamb is mostly a duo consisting of him and the female lead singer Lou Rhodes. They occasionally have people to play live instruments, like the upright bass, or harp, cello, guitar. Such a beautifully unique band. Unlike anyone I've ever heard in my life.
Ma che perle si trovano ancora su you tube, Red Ronnie con i Lamb, in che fantastico multiverso sono finito, grazie per aver caricato la puntata intera!
I bumped into them at Frome Festival around this time, blew my head up then and fell in love with their music. This really takes me back so thanks for sharing it.
I recorded this show on a cassette directly from TV speakers... 27 years ago 😌. Endless thanks for posting this, after such a long time. Great band, great music.
Setlist. 1. Gold - 10:20 2. Lusty- 18:15 3. Ah Ah Ah (Unplugged) - 29:00 4. Gorecki - 40:14 5. Lullaby - 49:04 6. Merge - 54:27 Vintage live Lamb stuff is absurdly rare, so I’m really glad to see this! Found this vid a year ago now and I never thought to do this lol.
@@ReplyequalsNerd Same. The only ones up are Gorecki and a tiny snippet of Lusty thats got me *dying* to hear the rest. Idk ig we’ll be waiting on that.
always been regarded as one of my all time favorite groups... will always love the music they make!!! what a wonderful capture from the past!!! THANK YOU!!!
I have NEVER seen them - I am so happy for you!!!! I have NEVER seen this specific clip - I’ve watched so many others and was sad when they took a break- I am in the USA and I hope to one day see them live .. I love every album❤
Me la ricordo benissimo questa puntata... mi ricordo che aspettai la replica per registrarla su vhs col videoregistratore... cosa antica circa quanto il chiedere se un gruppo ha un sito internet! 😅
hilarious they are talking about setting up a website in 1997... I remember working at Polygram when I got their cd and i was completely blown away by their brilliance.. just insane. This is an amazing live performance.
Thanks for posting. I wonder if the host ever understood the music. It's Jazz at heart mixed with Electronica. Being in the audience would be a dream come true for me. The host " why do you do that"? Some people are different I guess.
The host (Red Ronnie) has this way of interviewing artists, he asks questions that allow the viewers to better understand the artist and never follows a plot. The host is also the creator of the show and the one who chose the artists to be included in this TV programme. Red Ronnie has a TV channel on the internet today, you will be surprised to see how many people he has hosted/interviewed on his shows from the 80s until today... by the way I love Lamb as much as I love Lou Rhodes as a solo artist, I have seen them live several times and still love them
This is great stuff! One of the early Lamb performances which included "Ha Ha Ha" and "Lullaby". The dumb talk of the host, however, is cringeworthy and hard to endure. Pity.

Lucky brother
Never seen this hem live but feel it HARD.
So electronic and analog at the same time, good live sound and she is so beautiful, inside and out, like her voice.
Sublime.

Internet in 97 was a big thing though already. If it was in 94 then I would be surprised

ma quanto cazzo era avanti Red Ronny a mostrare ste cose in Italia nel '97
Cor! Get a load of Andy Barlow
❤
Quanto era bellina lei
This is awesome. Was it a recurring show with various artists?
yep, the best Italian music journalist out there, IMO
The TV host is such an oafish ! And he thinks he's funny...
che grandi! e che bei tempi erano quelli di TMC2! ero bambino ma capivo che erano trasmissioni e musica di qualità
Questa era una band favolosa
