- FC Bayern beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-2 in the Visit Malta Cup on Saturday night. After last week's 2-1 victory in Seoul, the crowd in London was treated to a very entertaining match. Dejan Kulusevski put Spurs in front in the first minute, but Dayot Upamecano, Serge Gnabry and Thomas Müller turned the game around before half-time. Kulusevski pulled one back after the restart, but with no more goals to come, Bayern sealed the Visit Malta Cup.
The Bavarians lined up with Manuel Neuer in goal and Josip Stanišić, Upamecano, Minjae Kim and Raphaël Guerreiro in a back four. Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlović anchored a midfield featuring Gnabry, Müller and Jamal Musiala, with Mathys Tel as the target man. Boss Vincent Kompany made a number of changes at half-time and in the second half, ex-Tottenham men Eric Dier and Harry Kane coming on as subs.

I’ve been noticing Stanišić’s ability to make runs into the box while he was at Leverkusen and he seems to be making good work of that at Bayern. In general he’s a quality defender that adds a lot to Bayern after his loan spell 🔥

Yes reminded me a lot of the bayern under Flick because of the power pressing. Under Flick such goals like the second one happened quite often. Doesnt immediatly mean Nagelsmann or Tuchel was bad, just different tactics. I just think with players like muller who is king in anticipating its the strong suit of bayern, pressing like crazy

Das sind einfach so Kleinigkeiten, die zeigen, dass das Marketing bei Bayern echt (noch) nicht so überragend ist und unbedingt verbessert werden muss.

Mate I'm a spurs fan and was there today, we aren't a decent side at the moment, were going to struggle this season, 8th - 10th is my prediction. Some spurs fans won't agree but I think we are going nowhere fast under the loud mouth aussie, we lack in every position, we've just got solanke so I'm hoping he will be as good as he was at bournemouth, guess we will see but I'm not convinced.
