The nut holding the arm of my Gas lift bed lift bed has come off. I have put it back on but the bed won't go back down can you advise me what to do please
Everything I did was right, apart from placing the slats the correct way. (I placed them the opposite way). No wonder my mattress is soo down. Fucks sake 🤦♂️
My ottoman beds frame is crooked, like there's a gap on the right at the bottom and it leans against the left side, it's not a big issue but is there an easy fix? Or have I messed up building it and have to take it apart..
Sorry for the late reply. you actually can adjust the slat frame by move the two gas lift triangles which support the frame. each triangle is installed with the wooden frame via three screws. loose the screws and adjust until the frame is at the right postion.
Hi Umair, sorry to hear you are having problems! If you email us directly with photos we will be able to see and understand what's happening and can help from there. Cheers
Hi instock furniture no its all ok i have assembled everything myself at first i thought the struts are broken but later figured it all out, anyway thanks for your concern.
Just pressure it down hard. The gas lift system is very strong - designed to hold weight mattresses. Press it down with both of your hands, hard. Or you can try to place a mattress on it. the weight from the mattress will help you to get it down.
@@pioneer2321 You should try before you buy, we got ours from Ikea and it looked like the best option for limited space, but I can't even lift it and I have to keep asking my husband for help, we both realise it was a bad buy, but we are stuck with it for the time being. Hope this helps you.
this woman has taking longer than she would of, had she'd used a ratchet set instead of the pointless tool she couldn't use and put all bolts in first instead of during assembly.
get ready to spend the whole afternoon, if you're on your own, lol
Agreed. Took me 6 hours. And even then I can't get the gas struts to work
@@NeuroticFemale same here
Setting this up is a nightmare
Comes with no fucking instructions with the bed which is just fucking great

I love it
crazy assembly process. i was expecting a button to lift things up. stupid design
It would be harder to assemble if you needed a button because then you'd have to wire it/connect it to a power supply for the button to work
Don't buy them. Once the mattress is on then it's a real struggle to lift.
Carole Traynor what about the ottoman. I was looking at a dunlopillo.
