@@DIY_AUTO_PHOTO Thank you for your help. Got it installed. The siren is loud. My neighbor is a sheriff and most likely getting tired of hearing the siren. The speaker is mounted Infront of the driver side fuse box, (Lexus 3x350h 2024) just behind the radiator, and still is ear piercing.

Currently I have SoundAlert 12V 100W but it's not loud and no one can hear the PA if I'm driving 35+ mph. Cannot hear anything on freeway. Is the ThunderWave 200W loud enough to be heard on the freeway?
@@hello_im_kt I have not tested it in that kind of use just to be honest however if you driving behind someone and use it they will hear it %100! or side by side.. if that makes any sense . I hope it helps
@@hello_im_kt I watched a few videos on her and they all seem to agree that 100w travels about 700 feet before dropping below the ambient road noise of 70db. However, 200w travels 1,400 feet before dropping below 70db. So, yes, 100w to 200w does not have a volume difference, it has a difference in range. The only other way to increase volume and range is to do like he did in this video, mount the speakers facing forward, free of obstructions, and high up. Beyond this, you'll need a 300w-500w train horn...
I used a ( rca audio cable to aux amzn.to/3MV82Jb ) and connected the the RCA to the back of the head unit to the one of the Line out for audio . and the other end of the cable I connected to the Thunderwaw controller in the back there is a port for aux connection I hope it helps.

do you have to long press and hold the siren buttons, or can you just press it once and the sirens go off?
You can just press it ones and it will activate it.. then press it again to turn it off

Hey Oh yes ! the 200W with 2 speakers is very loud and sound is very clear for PA system I was surprised in a good way )

Does the amp turn off when the switch panel is off or does it stay on. I dont want it to drain my battery.
Yes it turns off so it won't drain the battery

Yes it did worked the music plays thro the speakers on top as well )) dont expect it to be Boss sound quality but its playing lol
