This game had some of the best backgrounds that i can remember. It would be easy to just phone in generic time period backgrounds but these were very imaginative and creative with awesome music. Great game!
World Heroes is a game with a unique setting and world view where timeless heroes and heroes fight together. I haven't played it yet, but I want to play it once. Ryoko is a Japanese name and the thumbnail picture came out very pretty. It's good because she's a female character whose chest shakes better than expected.
Ryoko took so many of my quarters back in the day, but I am glad to see her glory still shines forth! Great gameplay! Love you were able to do her taunt after her super!

This game left a deep impression although i played it once or twice in the arcade... i always tot this game was ahead of its times... where sf and kof were more dorminant in sg arcades...just not sure where it went wrong...

I could never tell if this was a parody just like Revengers of Vengeance and Brutal Paws of Fury, or a SFII mockery. I remember the advertisements for World Heroes SNES in '92: EAT. SLEEP. BUST A FEW HEADS. With a tagline like that there is no way it would be serious.
To be fair on the tagline, it was the 90s. Just about every video game advertisement back then was deliberately corny. Game itself just looks like goofy fun. Not parody, nor a mockery of anything.

As someone pointed in a comment, that's a visual cue that you met a requirement for a secret fight, in this case, the first of three to fight Son Gokuu
As it is a Brazilian comment, I'll translate/summarize: Perfect vs. Rasputin - Dog statue Perfect vs. Kidd - Chicken Perfect vs. J. Carn - Swooping bird These three cues met at these stages, Gokuu replaces Dragon.
