June 2017, Newark NJ. Took my son to his first concert as a HS Graduation present. Loving TP and the Heartbreakers rubbed off on him. On the way in he asked "Who is Joe Walsh?" 3/4 through Joe's set my son screams at me, "JOE WALSH IS GREAT!"
Gosh, this must have been Tom's last tour, another tragic loss, due to the Pharmaceutical Opioid epidemic of Opioids and poor Tom being in what had to be excruciating pain. Those true fans that made it to this show of legends were very fortunate.
Seen him at summerfest Milwaukee, WI on July 5th 2017. Just 3 months before his death and he performed just like he did at my first Tom Petty Concert in 2001
I have satellite radio so I listen to Tom Petty radio as I listen I'm scared because I think rock and roll is dying without Tom Petty in it now that Tom Petty is gone I think rock and roll is going to be gone with him
For a long while, I campaigned for Joe to be POTUS. But he never would throw his name in the hat. After awhile (well, really after the restraining order) I finally gave up.
Joe and Tom never changed....always remained good men....my pops always told me growing up...NEVER trust a man who doesn’t like dogs
Tom and Joe were great friends when Tom's house burnt down Joe was one of the first people to help out.
