Father Victor’s ringing endorsement of this man is sickening and reflects poorly on his judgement, his parish, and the ROCOR. The prosecutions in ukraine won't end until US politicians voice opposition to the anti-religous campaigns. Ukraine cannot not risk losing their funding Letters and calls must be made. There has not been religious persecution like this in many years
I came from a parish in the south with a mix of Ukrainians and Russians, including some who are actual refugees, who all said the same thing: they all have family or friends in both areas, and lament the war. Its only been here on the east coast, that I've heard the angry vitriol of "don't call us brothers, they aren't our brothers!". Lord have mercy on us.
