    Thank you Dynast for your endorsement about Freetown's unmatched coastal beauty , with its pristine beaches. Through our concerted effort we will rebuild the King Jimmy infrastructure and the sites on Bunce and Banana Islands , in exercising our obligation to honor our ancestors who were taken from the African continent.

We need more men in thier 20's To stand for change in US. When that happens here, true progerss on breaking the cycle will come to fruition. A force that cant be reversed, both ways. Burn the trash? No.... Concrete over the trash? Lazy and would cause water problems down the line. Simply clean it up and put the smackdown on anyone who tries to litter afterwards
    @25:28 stop the show. Y'all should've checked that dude on the spot on camera! He came and threw trash right in the middle of y'all talking about cleaning it up SMH (I'm talking about the people who actually live there... Not Dynast, he's just a guest at this point)

    • @noisycomment1990
      @noisycomment1990 4 роки тому

      See my post above to Roger Cesar. I had the same thought about concrete over the trash. You're basically creating a dam which could move water to unintended places and cause overflow etc. But it might not just a clean up issue. That brother at 25:28 got no where else to throw garbage because there is no incinerator system/process... So you need INSTITUTIONAL solutions, from actual waste disposal options, area rehabilitation and then good waste practices. All while convincing people to care which is just a general human problem.

      @Conscious Vegan, No, both environmental education/clean-up must be done simultaneously. Also, I disagree with the brother in the video who recommended outdoor burning of the litter refuse, which will seriously cause and promote air pollution. And, I disagree with the other brother who recommended just covering up the longtime heavily trash littered King Jimmy shore land with concrete because the sacred land must be cleaned up versus allowing bad lethal toxins and bacteria from all kinds of refuse to stay inside/on top of the soil to eventually seep leeched poisons into both the soil/ bay water. The African Diaspora members in Canada, USA, Caribbean, UK/throughout Europe who are experts in every kind of environmental science certainly including solid waste, sewage/water management/treatment, environmentally compatible/sustainable building architecture, engineering/construction, and the harnessing of all available abundant natural environmental resources (sun heat, rainwater, wind, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, oceans, sand, fertile, /also dry arid lands) must work together with our brothers/sisters not only in Sierra Leone but in all 54 countries in Africa to ban water/land littering, orchestrate/coordinate related education and also land/water cleanup management crews of citizens (adult/youth workers) wherever needed in every African country. Ultimately, what must be made well understood by our brothers/sisters in all 54 countries wherever needed is the great direct correlation and connection tie between litter/garbage refuse filth and the widespread generation/proliferation of lethal toxins/diseases. This must be driven home to our people throughout Motherland Africa that by very seriously keeping all of their natural water/land clean also helps to protect/keep themselves healthy too.

    4:57 - 8:37 we focus too much on stupid cultural politics. He basically spent five minutes on a rant about how Dynast went to Nigeria and was given a Nigerian name instead of a Mende name (Dynast for his part kept playing foil by repeating his Nigerian name).

      Usually they go along with the international price tag, unless if you have someone digging for you - a wholeonother ballgame . I ventured into the gold business there once. I even have an Artisan license for it.

    I think what the FIRST MAN ,i don't know his name...but he said get the trash off the ground and burn it
    in a barrel. That make more sense/they do that in America in disadvantage rural areas. The young people
    need to be responsible to clean up the garbage off the ground. They need to be taught that responsibility. Once you get barrels going and burn this stuff, that way you are teaching them sanitation. Paving over it
    is costly . Start by simple getting people, to send latex gloves from America. Dollar store gloves and pick
    up the trash themselves. They don't need to pay them that is where they live. Take pride in themselves
    about teaching the young ones. Young and not so young can work together and do it. Baltimore Md USA
    that just happen last year ,all that garbage piled up high and far. People from a total differnt community came and cleaned up that mess. They were Cauasians and the neighborhood was African Americans. Google this about Baltimore Md USA. The Santation Dept. just coudn't keep it clean people just came
    and threw there garbage in that area. Poor people African Americans would do that just as worst as what we witnessed on this viedo.

      People need to be taught basic 101 in cleanliness and cleanliness is fundamental to good healthy living , this one of many problems in many African countries recently being to Ghana where I saw plastics have blighted the landscapes of the country.

    In my area in the UK I call the local council to clean up the trash strewn across the streets. Can you build a 4ft concrete wall (4 sides) with a funneled roof and have a weekly burn. There are people there with renewal energy ideas who can think of a way to reduce the pollution from the air/burn and maybe can use the energy to power lighting. There is also someone who has created a light source, could it all be connected to burn and light-power the local shanty? ua-cam.com/video/TeE5UIR6kIA/v-deo.html Cover it over and another place will be used to dump trash, make it reuseable i.e. the outbuilding with roof.
