Not a Hurts fan (Bucs fan since 1976), but give Hurts a break. Hes nowhere near as bad as Winston. Winston had 33 Picks and 6 Fumbles in 1 Season including 6 Pick 6s.

I’ve watched quite a few Eagles games. I’m sure Jalen Hurts has played like a top-tier guy at some point, but I haven’t seen it. He’s really good at running in a straight line if the defense leaves the middle of the field open, but that’s about it. If he has an elite team he’s ok. He isn’t accurate. He doesn’t really go through progressions. He turns the ball over constantly. He’s like a below average running back playing qb. I’m not trying to hate, he just hasn’t ever looked close to elite to me.
With no actual WRs to throw to, Tampa knew they had to cover Saquon and Goedert! They did! I'm just happy Jalen didn't throw an INT and this game wasn't a Dallas/Saints blowout. Special Teams has problems! OL didn't do a good job of protecting Jalen either.

Guess hurts isnt a top qb if he cant elevate talent. Ive seen sam howell get dotson a 900 yard season. Ive seen mahomes and allen produce with little to no weapons. So you guys are admitting finally that jalen needs propped up and he doesnt elevate talent. He sucks

Hurts has regressed BIGTIME! The defense is SOFT no one wants to tackle, the Eagles have no playmakers on defense & the play calling on both sides of the ball makes no SENSE, & Sirianni should've been FIRED last year!!!

So tired hearing about the weather. Both teams played in it. We lost in the playoffs and swore Bucs couldn’t play cold weather… crying… your secondary sucks. No instinct in zone coverage, Tampa kept throwing to the same spaces… idk I think we have a low iq defense and unfortunately Hurts also looks really stupid week after week… I thought he was better then this but I think this is who he is. No sense of a collapsing pocket… just isn’t playing football. PLAY!!! It’s a game

it's tough losing your top WRs in the first four games. Unfortunately it's going to take a while for Campbell, Wilson and Dotson to get up to speed. Don't know why we let Zaccheaus go.
RUN THE DAMN BALL...... JALEN ISNT JOE MONTANA. HE TROWS OFF OF THE RUN. HE ISNT A DROP BACK THROW 40 TIMES GUY. PUT 2 TIGHTENDS AND TAKE THE BALL OUT OF JALENS HANDS.
This is my biggest issue with them...Jalen/the team performs best when they throw >30...it helps to also not keep throwing deep only...and they have to start throwing to the middle or getting players open on crossing routes...
Becomes tough when you're down 3 scores. They didn't have a chance to get it going first 2 or 3 possessions

Our DEFENSE tackled like that BIG RING that they use to practice tackling on weekly (dive) and soft 🥴 but this game was ALSO on OFFENSIVE PLAY CALLING... if we know we don't have our 2 starting wide receivers then the run game and the tightend game should've been the highlight of today 😡 RUN THE BALL...
Bucs have been pressuring well, they just haven't been getting sacks. It's not to say that that isn't a problem for the bucs... but they are disrupting the rhythym of the plays and causing disruption. So 6 sacks doesn't surprise me especially in a game Eagles were forced to pass.
Jalen started to put an excellent drive together after the 2pt conversion kick block to keep us down only 14 and give us momentum. He almost looked too relaxed and casual tho. His throws were dots and had great touch but his pocket presence is sub par and the reason for his turnovers. Massive swing on that turnover on their half of the field. I think he had a man open too. Frustrating. They missed opps like u said Chris.

Hurts started 1/6 while Saquan only had 2 carries at that point. Kellen Moore deserves a healthy amount of blame.

everyone switching up on hurts, but i got faith in him still and always will. He will get right. he had all the odds against him and it’s the beginning of the season, and everyone’s treating this game like it’s late in the season already and everyone’s healthy. They’re still finding their identity with the new coach. He does need to play better yes, but he will, & the defense got carved up in the beginning and it’s hard to persevere through that without your 1st team.

Idk man. He had a great 2022 and occasionally has flashes of being good, but my gut feeling (even after 2022) was that I still didn't feel convinced and still a bit hesitant to trust him. That's unfortunately been accurate so far. I'm not saying we can't win with Jalen, but he needs to accept that he isn't the QB he thinks he is, play in to his strengths, and play around his weaknesses. Kellen Moore needs to game plan around this. Safe easy throws to your playmakers with some creative plays to get them the ball. There's no excuse when we have the offensive players that we do.

@@realscoobsWe do have playmakers, but a lot of them are injured. Goedert dropped a ball. we can’t sit here and act like we didn’t just play a loaded bucs team that is a threat. Mike evans & chris godwin aren’t nobodies, they’re champions and they are a good team, & we didn’t have our key playmakers and that’s what makes us the team we are. that’s what happens when you have a half depleted team that hasn’t found their identity yet facing the team that beat us in the playoffs last year. i’m just not as shocked as everyone else is. this was the whole team that lost the game. don’t even get me started on special teams
