FF8 Orchestral Remix - Don't Be Afraid

Arrangement of "Don't Be Afraid", the battle theme from Final Fantasy VIII.
Composed by Nobuo Uematsu, arranged by Sipi Ovaska.
One of my favourite battle themes in Final Fantasy, and one that really works well with a fully orchestral sound. I took some inspiration from the Distant Worlds version, but I tried to stay closer to the original than the DW arrangement. I tried to keep the power and energy of the original, and add some more orchestral elements such as percussion and woodwinds.

FF VIII was my first FF, and goddamn even if in hindsight the story was all over the place, it holds a special place in my heart for its unique mechanics, its memorable characters, and, of course, its music etched into my brain.
