- 6 years ago today Weston was born and I became a father. At that time in our lives, Haley and I thought being parents was not in the cards for us. But Jaclyn Krautner (our surrogate) had different plans. Thanks to her we were able to become parents. Weston has been my saving grace through my grief journey. I couldn’t be more proud of the boy he is and the man he is becoming. Happy Birthday Weston!
