- In this baseball swing drill video I breakdown the element of connection in your baseball swing and go through three drills to help improve connection.
Proper connection is extremely important! Connection gives us a short direct path to the ball and gives the player more control of the barrel as opposed to being disconnected/slow/long to the ball.
Two pieces to connection: backside connection and front arm connection to the chest at contact. Hope it helps! Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the awesome drills! One issue I see with young players is the load and really getting separation. Do you have drills that help them feel this to avoid dead hands? I’ve seen knob to knee which is awesome. Thanks
Get their feet together,or crossed.Tell them to sit,so they get that slight turn and coil in that rear hip,chest over that back leg.than tell them to stride.

Make sure chin stays at front shoulder and eyes are at pitcher
