My favorite show when I was 7 years old. Carol Burnett was a hoot! I remember staying up late to watch it on the black/white tv while waiting for my father to come home from his restaurant job. Fond memories.
When me and my mother lived with my grandmother in Bayside I remember staying up and watching The Carol Burnett Show I remember every one of these it's so funny those were the good old days
I know this is an old post but you just gotta love this show! Always live, never knew what was going to come out of their mouths!! There is no current show that comes close. RIP Tim and Harvey :-( I bet you have our Lord bustin' his gut up there in Heaven!!!
We always watched Carol Burnett too. Wow, I forgot all about Mutual Of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, but we watched it also. Thursday nights, it was always The Dean Martin Show for us. Also Gunsmoke and Here's Lucy. Great memories! :)
I remember how they used to judge this woman for not having cookie cut looks. So glad things have changed since then. Finally we can appreciate how pretty she was.
I remember Carol Burnett saying the curtain gown she wore was a Bill Macke original. He came up with the idea of using a curtain and curtain rod right at the last minute before they actually went live.
Carol Burnett Show was one of the best shows ever.... I wish they had done more reunion shows... Laughter is good for the soul and we need more Carol Burnett!!!!
@LILBUDDYRaffa It was part of a string of parodies they made for their "Salute to Movie Series". I think it was Season 7. I've always thought that Vicki's playing up the Jewish aspect of Maria Ouspenskaya was a stroke of comedic genius!
I remember watching this as a child on Saturday nights. I always thought Carol Burnett was the funniest. I also remember the sound effects...like if someone gets hit with a punch you would hear this giant **THUD** in the background. Really funny stuff.
I recall the first time I saw the skit with Mrs Wiggins and the intercom. Laughed so hard it hurt! Unfortunately I think the humor in the movie parodies is lost on anyone much younger than forty. There really isn't any true entertainment on television any more.
I love your videos! I was wondering if you could post the full-length versions of the Queen Elizabeth sketches, as well as the Tudball and Wiggins ones.
i forgot there were so many funny ones. I wish i could find this skit where carol plays an alcoholic named jane who uses the same routine with guys at this bar. it was so hilarious
I absolutely love this!!! Thank you so much for posting, do you have the entire skit from :50? or any of the queen ones? If so I would love to see them! Thank you again for posting these awesome clips. XD
@livelifealwaysx3 That is indeed Cher....back when there was still some of her left. Hilarious how she couldn't keep a straight face after referring to herself as "an ordinary housewife". lol
LOL--I'm so sorry, Steven! Believe it or not that was a typo--there are a couple of "Scotts" in my history, so I guess I just picked up on that part of your name without realizing what I was doing--Apologies!
Anyone know where I can find the skit that Tim is a Hoover vacuum cleaner salesman and calls on Carol. He sucks up her parakeet while demonstrating the vacuum.
Oh! I missed the part where Tim Conway married his secretary! {Fact? Fiction} Thanks for the info on Fun Package Tour #3. I'll look for that now. Thanks for your help.
What is the name of the skit where Carol is a secretary and she is saying things like, blurry bilingual bibels. badly bloched your bushy bunty. Ending with Crocky, crinkly, concky and cocks. Or how ever she said that? I had this skit on VHS at one point and am trying to find it on you tube.
02:19 Could someone PLEASE tell me the name of this sketch? I have been looking for this one for a LONG time! 05:15 Ed threw the dice on the table, because he KNEW there was going to be a lull in the game! 05:44 Sooorrryyy!!! {LOL!} 05:51 "A stick, a steak & a schtick." What skit was THAT one from? 07:17 Arthur Newberry is one of my FAVORITE characters! 08:34 This skit came about, because this ACTUALLY happened between Tim Conway and his REAL secretary!
@scientifico wow I had forgotten when it came on and that mutual of omaha came on same night,I was a little boy then and i liked the jungle stuff then, now I am an old man and love carol burnett
When l feel a little down l come on UA-cam to watch reruns of Carol Burnett... like tonight and by the time l've watched a few l feel 💯 % better like l do now ... 👍 😊 .. May 21/22 ..
I remember watching this show RELIGIOUSLY with my mom every week! I was probably three or four. When the end of the show came on with the credits rolling, and the caroon of Carol mopping the floor ending up with the bucket over her head... man! For some reason, that used to scare me. But WHAT a CLASSIC show! TV today comes nowhere NEAR close to Carol Burnett and friends!
Thumbs up 4 this kind of TV Carol and company is still the best
My favorite show when I was 7 years old. Carol Burnett was a hoot! I remember staying up late to watch it on the black/white tv while waiting for my father to come home from his restaurant job. Fond memories.

Props to the lady that said she’s just an ordinary house wife and she was even laughing about it
Great upload, once again! Thank you so much for the Carol videos!

@LILBUDDYRaffa It was part of a string of parodies they made for their "Salute to Movie Series". I think it was Season 7. I've always thought that Vicki's playing up the Jewish aspect of Maria Ouspenskaya was a stroke of comedic genius!
This is so good lol, I wish they would play reruns of the show on TV Land or Lifetime or Hallmark or anything! I just need it ;P
I remember watching this as a child on Saturday nights. I always thought Carol Burnett was the funniest. I also remember the sound effects...like if someone gets hit with a punch you would hear this giant **THUD** in the background. Really funny stuff.

The 8 dislikes know absolutely NOTHING about true comedy, or when TV shows actually entertained. I miss 70s TV.

Gosh. Carol and Vicki could pass as sisters. For years I thought they were.
It was a SEVEN!

Yup! And do you remember that Lon Chaney, Jr. said that of all the movies that he did that the "Wolf Man." "was his baby."

Wonderful comedy. Good clean laughs. No sign of disrespect for anyone or anything. We need more of this and you sure do not see it today.

Wasn't Carol's character's name, Nora Desmond?
Yes, not Norma. Norma Desmond was in the movie "Sunset Boulevard".

Truly funny, Carol's really a great Comedian. No one beats her. :)
IT WAS A SEVEN!
I’ve seen them hundreds of times. And I will watch them hundreds more.
Even Cher had to laugh at that line of "I'm just an ordinary housewife". That was hilarious.
I was lucky to be a child when The Carol Burnett Show was first televised. Lots of happy memories.
So many hilarious skits 😂
One of my favorite Family skits was the Sorry game 😂👍
