SANTA BARBARA WOULD'VE MADE IT HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE BACKSTAGE DRAMA BETWEEN NEW WORLD TELEVISION, NBC, AND THE CREATIVE GENIUS'... THE DOBSONS. It was brilliant and light years ahead of any other daytime shows at the time. I'm confident SB would be churning out new, creative stories today instead of the repeated plots we see from the final 4 today.
