- Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2... 2 is a sequel to the second Modern Warfare. AND it's a Battlefield game at the same time. Of all the new games this year, Modern Warfare 2 has surprised me the most with ground war. It is genuinely Battlefield gameplay, vehicle combat included. Never would have thought Modern Warfare would be a substitute for Battlefield 2042, but here we are. I hope this video made you chuckle, links to emotes and streams below:

I love how "Modern Warfare 2" has grenade drills that detonate on the other side of walls and inflatable soldiers that act as decoys, meanwhile
BF2042 has "C-5"
calling it c5 when its literally c4 is the most 5headed thing ive ever seen lmaooo
That "C-5" will blow up the wall though and creates a whole other entry-point into the building. It is also almost completely silent- so it won't give away that you just threw it.
I will give you that decoys are a nice addition though. But that has nothing to do with what makes BF what it is. There are plenty of other toys like you know jets, attack and bomber choppers, unmanned drones that might as well be decoys- one of them which is mobile and has a huge scope glare to attract attention - in BF2042.
Sure you might get a chopper to camp in- but you can just as well grabble-hook or climb onto a condor and snipe other aerial vehicles with rocket launchers or snipe out pilots of other vehicles. How much air competition is in COD again? When it comes to the combined-warfare aspect COD doesn't even reach BF's coattails.
I mean C5 is an actual explosive, but it’s not really practical for most things

Tbh being able to move around in the helicopter & even autopilot it so it hovers is the type of innovation i didn't expect from Activision.
I just wish Activision makes the map lot bigger for vehicle combat and long range engagement.
It came from the devs, not activision. Activision is a sack of shit that is the reason SBMM is still in the game. Well maybe they're not always a sack of shit, but usually.

Btw Habie, switch your killstreaks to scorestreaks- kills give the same amount in both, but scorestreaks allow assists, objective stuff, etc to add towards your killstreak scores. It's just a straight upgrade.
I'm pretty sure it actually makes it a little more expensive
@@PantherPlayerCLAW Its the same, especially since youll get extra points by breathing since getting kills with extra points like "avenger" or such give more than enough xp to go beyond its og score.
@@shiverse9868 Uav on killstreaks is 400 points and score streaks its 500 points everything is increased a bit, but its better as using score streaks your streaks can earn you more streaks while with killstreaks you just get a kill with a vtol but no progression towards streaks.

Activision realizing they had an opportunity to corner the battlefield market and going all in is one of the dirtiest business moves I’ve ever seen and I love it

How? Explain it to me. In the original mw2 shepherd betrays you by shooting roach and ghost dead. And in mw2 (2022), shepherd is now magically back and no one (from your train of thought) cares that he had started a third world war, and now ghost and roach are just back from the dead? Cod 4 was my first online call of duty, and this is honestly the most fun I’ve had since black ops 2. I thought I could never get those good ol days back but I’ve been having so much fun just grinding for camo’s

Play some DMZ bro. You can prox chat and meet enemies on the field and either talk to team up or just light each other up. It’s weird but gives the game a HUGE new sense of “wow this community is awesome”

A lot more arcadey than BF, but it is a much more fun alternative to 2042. For now, the best way to get that pure battlefield experience is to go back to BF3,4 and 1. They still have a huge playerbase and those games are just so content-dense that you'll never run out of stuff to do.

I've actually had no desire to pick up Modern Warfare II before watching this review, but now I want too. Enjoyed the first game and now the highlight of Habie doing ground war actually has me excited for it now.

This mode isnt over looked, it's been half the community for awhile. Well at least a huge chunk. This iteration is just that much better, and it feels so good. Like you said, the little things feel good. Great video :)

As a frustrated battlefield player you really captured what it felt like for me watching clips recently of this game and how it feels like the battlefield the fans expected. Feels weird.
I'm so glad so many other people have come to this conclusion as well. I want them to add squad spawning to invasion as well, cause that mode is pretty gun too. It just sucks when you're running in a party and you all spawn just... Wherever all over the map. Sorta defeats some of the cool coordination that could happen.

Buy it with a VPN proxy to another, cheaper country to get it from. I do that to buy Russian CD keys. Only thing you have to figure out is how to get to the settings and change the language to english

Really happy to see battlefield 1 make a comeback, it's my favorite by far in terms of gameplay and atmosphere. Seen some behind the scenes stuff for the game and they are very passionate about it. Definitely well deserved.

Ground War has a great atmosphere and the explosions and vehicles I'd say are top notch, not quite a Battlefield game but definitely an improvement from their previous attempts.
The vehicles look horribly simplified, mw2's infantry gameplay looks good though.

If your really into battlefield and are equally dissapointed in 2042 like the rest of us, I really recommend you try battlebit remastered. On the outside it seems like a Roblox esq shooter but after giving it a chance the gun play and gameplay are clean and crisp. Their having biweekly play tests on steam and the devs are handling the development process really well.
It sucks, just give us BF4 remastered

I really like they made it more Battlefield, MW (The last one) had Ground War and it's great they expanded it. Can't wait to try the Warzone 2 and DMZ modes next week to see how the game is!

The Devs of Battlefield 2042 have put in a lot of work to make the game feel more battlefield-ish. I recommend giving it another chance, imo it is the deffinitive "Only in Battlefield" game.
True the games was advertised to be a only in battlefield game with all that happens in the games right now.

Im a hardcore battlefield fan because of the field weapons, vehicles and most of all because it is chaotic. It is has always been like that and if you can take advantage of the chaos as a destraction, you can pull of some sneaky stuff. Its a lot easier to be seen but rewarding when you pull something off. The destruction just makes the "war" feel more believable. When I play call of duty, it feels like im playing airsoft because bullets/projectiles cant break wooden walls.

Modern Warfare 2 (2) is a sequel to the second Modern Warfare which is set in a different universe than the first Modern Warfare, first Modern Warfare 2, and Modern Warfare 3; which happened in a time set before the second Modern Warfare and the second Modern Warfare 2. Thus making MW (1), MW 2 (1), and Modern Warfare 3 prequels
