Gwent | Scoia'tael | Mahakam Forge Armor 8x Simlas feat. Syanna & Yarpen Zigrin

4x Armorer's Workshop run was good... how about 8x Simlas with 4x Workshop AND 4x Tempering in one turn? It is possible with Alissa + Decoy and setting up Tempering is very easy in a Forge deck with Mahakam Pass.
If 8x Simlas plan fails, then Syanna can still be used for a Dennis Cranmer fatality.

What do you figure the success rate to be when acquiring the special copies? Is this meme territory or is it more viable and consistent to achieve?

4x Workshop from the previous vod was quite consistent on stream, we got extra copies each game. In reality it should be like 80%.
Syanna combo I managed to put up once on stream in like 4 games iirc. It isn't as hopless as hardcore meme decks, there are some targets to bait removal and Syanna can be protected up to 15 power with leader and Mahakam Pass. So I'd guess around 20% success rate in reality.
Syanna is the meme part, deck from the preceeding vod is stronger and has any control.
