This is the first time I have heard Bishop Dug Mills son Joshua when he was preaching I cried like a baby in my heart I was wondering when will I hear this preaching from an African preacher all they preach about is how to get rich quick: and the church is going straight to hell with no one to save them! I thank God for your parents I listen to Bishop Dug & his wife not onetime have they preached prosperity preaching about money or seed money to get blessing!! I was truly blessed 😇 thank you God for more young men & women like him!!
Africans have seen so much poverty and the desperation to get rich is hyper, truly. But While it is a sad fact, I don't think people go to hell because of the prosperity gospel. In the prosperity gospel - there is also belief in the resurrection power and the grace. If belief in the prosperity gospel condemns man, then surely Jesus died for a few but he died for all. He is too merciful to send one to hell for believing in riches when he is riches himself. What sends man to hell is the content of a man's heart and his action contrary to God's purity and righteousness. The belief in prosperity gospel alone cannot send one to hell. He came to give hope to man, and in the midst of the knowledge of rapture - hope must be kept alive to silence depression and suicidal thoughts. I think people grow at some point and move on from such teachings to now pastoral or evangelical etc.
