Fellas this isn't ultimate team where rvery player is a 99. This a sophomores and juniors who have a 73 tackle. This destroys madden in literally every way. Rip madden
I also think they need to remember, probably low difficulty, if there’s the ‘arcade game style’ like Madden it’s probably on that setting to see more high scoring stuff. I also don’t think tackling will be as hard, you just have to use the right tackle.

@@iMAV3RIQ I think it may be more user error but it definitely happens. The issue is the other guy is also using a good team but if this was Michigan vs Purdue or something I’d say the broken tackles look fine.
I think you guys just gotta understand that college isn’t the NfL . There is a lot of bad tackling/defense in college which is why there is so many high scoring games . Mav and Trent aren’t avant- football watchers so I wouldn’t expect them to know this off the bat
Small college's you will get 50 plus points but when you get two tough teams play each other, you will get low scoring games

You are correct that is real life but it will be ai errors thy cause the misse tackles and animations glitching things to happen that are just physically impossible

To me, it looks like madden sped up a bit and with tricky camera and lighting effects

I think 10 to 13 teams last year averaged around 40 points in college compared to the NFL were maybe 3 teams averaged over 25 points this gameplay kinda fits college 😂

Depends on if you play with small school and your going up against a bigger school like Alabama, your defense going to have hard times against Alabama
They weren’t playing on Heisman difficulty. I don’t think there will be as many broken tackles in Heisman difficulty or I hope night and He is a top RB in the country.

We need an online dynasty with all the couch members controlling a different university. Preferably in the same conference and division to ensure there’s a matchup every season.
It's not really broken tackles dudes user is horrendous. Bad angles on almost every play
Also it's not Madden..soooooo it makes sense you have top tier college players sometimes playing lesser competition
Yeah bordeaux even said he’s really bad at the game in his uncut version of this so yeah if you’re good at defense it won’t be a blow up
Edwards was the backup to the starter but often would run for 100 yards on less than 10 carries. He ran for over 100 yards in the National Championship game. Yes, you are very casual. He basically set the tone in the game against Washington. That is one reason he is on the cover.
Also I noticed the tackling was based on the users taking terrible angles. Watch most of the tackles were guys switches that tried to dive or hit stick every time. So some of this looks like the user caused the issue, not the game or the computer controlled guys.

I think a series where you all play as teams in the same conference all close together could be fun to watch. Competing against each other in recruiting and guaranteed user games every year. Maybe draft generic playbooks every year to keep the team identities different and add another layer of gamesmanship. Also another layer would be seeing who could beat up the AI the best or even CRANK up the difficulty to BS levels to keep yall losing to the AI every once in a while.
In ncaa 25 it will be harder to tackle because it’s based off real life so for ex. If a 6,1 230 pound running back is running and a 5,11 190 corner back is about to tackle the running back the corner have to hit him the right way or he will get trucked it not like madden 24 were the corner dive at the running back and the running back gets smacked

I don’t think tackling will be that bad. I think you’ll just have to use the right kinds of tackles. Less dive and hit stick tackles. No more diving from the side and tackling. Also this was filmed months ago so maybe they tweaked it if they really felt it was that bad.

My ONLY issue with the game is at about 11:55 where the AI still can’t get pursuit angles down correctly
The only thing I was thinking was that he clicked on to miss a lot of tackles in my opinion unless I was just looking at it wrong
If you watch Bordeaux, they played on Heisman & he said himself he's pretty bad & really only used to playing against the Computer
The kicking meter, is once you tap A/X for the bottom meter, you have to hold it, but you don’t wanna fill the meter up, bc you’ll miss it
only thing ab the run game is these are like the top rbs in college so they supposed to move a lil better
I agree with you the tackling is gonna be so frustrating. I feel like if they get that close it shouldn’t be a complete whiff. Also Id like to see a co-op dynasty with you and trent rebuilding a subpar team where you have to punt every third down

I would love to see all you guys in an online dynasty and see how each of you build your teams differently. Also maybe realigning or choosing teams in the same conference so we could see you guys match ups against each other. Competition should be after maybe 5-10 or more years in the dynasty who has the most success.

For the defense...hopefully as in past games you can change the tackle strategy. Whether it is sure tackling, hard hitting, or stripping the ball. Maybe with that there won't be as many easy missed tackles. It is the first thing I noticed though. I'm a defensive guy and i like to make sure to shut down the run, don't know if that will be possible.
We definitely need fam tournaments and dynasty’s on this game! Maybe a dynasty with the whole crew would be dope! Loved when y’all played ncaa on Throwback Thursday so would love ncaa content! G1GB

To your point about the tackling, I wonder what difficulty they are playing on? If its on the freshman setting than tackles and angles are going to be bad. Hopefully on the hiesamn setting the AI defenders will make that tackle and have better angles
I don't know if we have the same issue with tackling. Mine is, they lacked physics that M25 added. I'm not a h2h guy, but the few times I do play against friends or even just watch vids of h2h gameplay, it's always harder to get user tackles rather than letting the cpu do it.
Outside of the lack of physics compared to M25, everything else was fine. There was a huge skill gap between Donovan and Bordeaux lol.
Texas and Michigan are playing this year! Should definitely watch that game
as soon as I saw that same madden 20-24 juke move that covers 5 yards of space I knew it was the same🗑 all over again 🤣🤣. the graphics and presentation are beautiful but with that frostbite engine they can't fix those legacy issues especially those crazy looking gang tackles were people just fall down like woody on toy story naaaa I'll continue to wait for someone outside of easports for a real football game with real physics
With the speed boost on the flag interference play, Maybe that was player speed threshold at work? I usually play on zero and never have that problem.
I will say if you notice a lot of those "bad non-tackles" was simply cause the user clicked on. the first one he clicked on and tried to hit stick late, the simple cut in with the left stick he clicked on as well. Tackling will be harder in general cause it's college not the NFL, but it's basically just harder for the user to tackle meaning you actually have to be in position and making the right tackle. Instead of just relying on a flick of the stick to make the tackle for you. Also, on the DPI the one that said it was realistic was the Michigan RB who the penalty was on.

we definetly gotta see flam bacc when this drops i feel like a series w everyone including dion and letting luke n fred handle commentating full time would c nice. this is a completely different game so i dont think dion’s veteran edge is gonna do much for him and with all thke crap talk from thke past beef season it would c cool to see everyone going at it
so theyre playing 3 minute quarters i think, and scoring a ton. i did not see the setup of this matchup, but i can almost guarantee they have the difficulty on like freshman or whatever they call it on ncaa. they probably did that to showcase the offensive stuff, but i also bet if the difficulty is on heisman, alot of those tackles are being made
I’m hype for this game, but I actually felt like the running in Madden 24 was pretty good. You can actually work the sticks, you just have to know what to do and when.

Just remember that this isn't the NFL and a lot of these players will naturally have low tackle ratings due to the nature of college. The gameplay looks significantly closer to an NCAA game than it does to Madden and that's the best thing for it. Plus the fact that Donovan Edwards is one of the best backs in the country also accounts for a lot of these broken tackles.

I’m definitely slowing down the game speed in the sliders. The players are moving too fast for my liking. I’m fine with madden gameplay speed. The running back from Michigan was unstoppable smh. Doesn’t look realistic with those speeds. Overall I’m excited so the experience is gonna be like no other!! It’s been awhile

I played the Madden 25 beta if it plays like a faster paced Madden the tackling is great you just can’t hit stick all the time bc you’ll get a bunch of missed tackles arm tackles are broken more too

it happens though. Sometimes a receiver might be jogging and then when the ball goes up he speeds up to it. Obviously it’s faster on the game but still real and fake at the same time lol I like it
