Which battle and/or war?
It operates in contested airspaces freely.
@@fightfish3265 do you have proof of f35 operating in such enviroment?
It’s been flying combat missions in Israel and Syria.
We are one and all.
How'd the F35 do in Afghanistan...oh, nevermind 🤑
I clicked because of the wrong thumbnail...
F16 run rings around it.
According to Dutch pilots that have flown the F-16 against the F-35 the only way the F-16 has any chance at all in BFM is if it flies clean, meaning no missiles, meanwhile the F-35 can perform against it with the ability to use missiles.
If someone jams the radios signal it can't do it's job?
I don’t think you know how hard that is
Why the F22 on the thumbnail?
In which battle did it excel?
The F35 has operated in contested airspaces freely since its inception. I guess no one wants to fight them. Or maybe, no one sees them.
Battle of hastings
So this is a point to point transmission rather than a broadcast?
Craft to craft beamforming, satellite comms for long range.
Broadcast capabilities would exist but are unlikely to be first-use.
@@MyHandelsMessiah cheers. AESA arrays are science fiction!

It is part of the radar system
which battles?
The F-35 has been in battle? Where?
Operates in contested airspace REGULARLY.
Ask the Israelis.
And to other planes radars and many things
thumbnail is the F22
This guy can say why f 35 excels but can't say where it has !
Look at any wargame we've done with the F35 that we don't tie down, it fucking murders anything it sees.

@@Utsav_Nayak against western fighters and weapon systems...which means it can 100% demolish whatever the east has, furthermore it's been in Israel uncontested and multiple other Middle Eastern conflicts.
It never has been tested in battle, unless you count the Israeli airstrike on Iranian embassy in Damascus. But I dont think the attack on country without airforce counts
Anyway, didn't a bunch of test pilots come out and say they were terrible and inferior to other jets of the same generation? however, they were quickly told to shut their mouths and not say anything more.
wasn't it like the complete opposite. Theres quite a few videos of pilots saying the F35 is good and stuff
@@KeyboardWarrior1234 Yeah, it was since then that they started saying it was amazing and the best.
But I remember there were a bunch of videos and reports released from test pilots, it may have been test pilots from other countries looking to buy them when the US was trying to sell them.
I think it was basically anyone that wasn't from the US said "This thing is terrible"
I know I didn't imagine it, I'm sure there were test pilots from the UK, Australia, France, Germany, and a bunch of other countries that tried it to buy it and said something like… this is terrible, the ones that are in development and not finished yet from other countries are far better, and they refuse to buy them
Why not free space optics?
But the thumbnail shows an F22.
Has it been in any battle? This is why it is SUPPOSED to excel in battle...
Ya, f35s have been used pretty extensively by isreal
Aaaaand thats the end of this argument. 2pts.
So has the f35 gotten confirmed air to air missions?
The Israeli defense force used it against Syria some time ago, but it doesn't seem to be so popular these days. What's the reason why they're not using them?
its a QB jet, it has more to do with doctrine in comparison to the wars going on. they arent needed for the missions
Nobody is stupid enough to try to take one on
LOTS of countries use the F35. It has operated in contested airspaces freely.
No but it excels at them apparently
Has it ever even been in battle?

Apart from all the Chinese parts they recently found that in them and had to ground them

@@fightfish3265”BIG” is an understatement, the Gripen lacks so much compared to the F-35 it’s not even close.
"Yeah you can do all this (without the body armor) if you just wear a T-shirt!"
When did the f35 Ever excel in battle rofflmao or just battle for that matter. It sure is a good thing that it has those networking capabilities so it can transfer data to other planes that can actually get things done that actually have the necessary manuverability and evading capabilities 🤣.
What happened to all those reports a while back saying the F-35 was a drain on resources and had critical failures and problems?
Did that get resolved? Genuinely curious.
Ehhh kinda
@@cideltacommand7169 so not 100% resolved. I’d assume the F-22 is still the best we got then.
@@andresuazo6129 nah, the strike eagle is still the best
Because all, or atleast most of those reports were sourced to RT...Or "Russia Today" from an interview from a guy who thought that removing Radars, ejection seats, missiles, and fuel tanks from planes was a good idea, and never, in his life, designed a mainline production aircraft.
Question?
What does the F-35 sound like to people that are on the ground?
Loud and raspy, assuming you mean close to the ground
It’s four times louder than an F-16.
That HOD helmet, made in Israel that big screen glass cockpit display made in Israel those wings made in Israel first f35 air to air kill, done in Israel, first fighter jet shooting a cruise missile down too 🇮🇱🇺🇸
I'd agree F35A and C are great fighters. But F35B...
The F-35B just needs to be better than the AV-8, which it does very easily.
Net networking is qll the f35 has going for it thats it
The F-35 is a very expensive boondoggle. Underperforming, twice the unit cost contracted for, fragile ... The Boeing JSF was "funny looking" but clearly the superior of the two proposals.
The F 22 is more expensive. So was the f 15
The Boeing JSF wasn’t even close to competing to the Lockheed bid, literally needed separate airframes to go VTOL and supersonic.
Holy crap am I EARLY?! Yay! I Love your content! You and Mustard are my favorite aviation channels. Keep up the good work!
And it can fly itself into the ground. Ground breaking?
No participation trophy for you.

340 GB
The F35 is the biggest scam ever.
It's also nicknamed the "flying pinguin'' by its pilots.
Also known as the "1400 billion dollar national disaster"
Whereas the F22 is the most beautiful american made jet fighter.
(The P51 beeing the most beautiful piston + prop fighter)
This comment proves you have no idea what you are talking about.
I bet you don’t even know what the 1.4 trillion figure represents, because you seem to think that it’s how much the F-35 has cost so far, which is incorrect.
And the penguin-like nickname isn’t “flying penguin” it’s “battle penguin” and it’s not meant as an insult, it’s referring to how the F-35 has relatively short wings, the reason why “battle” is included is because of how well the F-35 performs in battle.
@@swiffersweatjet7815 i know very well what i'm talking about. Do your engineering in mechanic, electronics, programing and learn to fly a jet. Then you can talk.
See you in a ten year time.
@@swiffersweatjet7815 also Navy pilots who renew their contract are in a position to negociate and they specify they renew only if they are in an F18 squadron. You should feel ashamed to risk your aviators lifes in F35s such flying anvils
@@alexdarcydestsimon3767 the mere fact that you mentioned the 1.4 trillion prices you don’t, because that’s not actually how much the F-35 has cost, that’s how much it will cost to operate a fleet of 2500 F-35’s till 2060. That includes wages for pilots, technicians, and engineers, parts, maintenance, fuel, upgrades.
The F-35 hasn’t cost 1.4 trillion because that number is an estimate for the future.
And most pilots who are transferred to the F-35 rate it favourably to their old one. Do you mind providing a source that F-18 pilots don’t want to fly the F-35?(which is ultimately fine because the F-35 isn’t replacing the F-18)
