The infantry support playstyle is really underrated. It's impressive how much of a threat multiplier an LMG remote weapons system with some armour can be in a match of Squad. Like, seriosly, even the dinky MTLBs with unstabilized PKTs can be a menace if you're fighting alongside infantry.
I mean yes and no. It do depend on who you are playing with and against. And Inf support with armor be it a Warrior, bulldog, Stryker, brad, BMP suffers from one massive thing that IMO makes playing mechinf and Inf support frustrating. The Damage system that squad has for vehicles. One RPG round hitting your tracks (even though said vehicle is designed/upgraded so its harder for a round to insta track) you are immobile and a sitting duck. Another rocket POOOF your turret is useless, or you are engined. It just makes it frustrating.. it would be cool if actually the slat armor that the BMP-2M and Leopard 2A6M has would catch a LAT shoot or 2, but it does not (at least not the Leo who might maybe take one extra LAT round with slat Armor).. I just want a better system so Armor can stay longer and that AT kits would do a better dmg model.. (Also to mention I'm primary a HAT player so I'm talking about nerfing my favorite role here lol)
Unlike what most people say, both Ukrainian and Russians acknowledge that a proper armor support (especially auto cannon armed IFVs - BTR/BMP/Bradley/Marder etc) are horrible to face due to the suppresive fire of the auto cannons, if there are no proper minefields and no long range atgm/FPV support at hand , these things wreck face and its very difficult to deal with. There are videos of IFVs shooting up entire forest belts and trench lines with RPGs flying left and right of them but due to their suppression the infantry find it difficult to accurately hit unless caught in an ambush.
I literally played the exact same scenario on that map in squad with the BTR M. Crazy lol 😂 don’t sleep on that APC it’s an almost perfect troop carrier.
People don’t give these little apcs enough credit! I’ve done a lot of work with them, you just have to play defensively like in the video. Even the mtlb can take a HAT round and survive most of the time, so you can be a real problem for infantry.
Wow that thing sounds so mean when both weapons are firing! I’m a big fan, and I love playing in your servers. Maybe one day we’ll cross swords! (so to speak) Best wishes!
learning light/medium armor roles are we? to me they are the most fun the btr zd on vdv. the AA and 50 on it will kill a lav so quick, it straight up wins.
If only the infantry gameplay didn't feel like a terribly trained, drunk soldier running around with A rubber-band for arms. Tell me why they did this to the game? I know 7 friends that stopped playing this because of how terrible the aiming is now, and how "untrained" your soldier feels firing his weapons.

@@lordnootnoot2892 HAT should remain the same, LAT needs a nerf.
@@lawrencehuggins347 yeh i agree
No-death rounds are always SO satisfying!!
My and my bro have absolutely destroyed in that particular 2 gun apc. The enemy isn't usually scared of clunky apcs but that works to it's advantage

"Squad is the most immersive..." He says while laying prone atop a wall. Nice immersion buddy :'D

".. take the dirt road down south."
*Giggity!*
Lightly armored? All of these small VDV vehicles eat up 25mm Sabot
No armour is best armour
Goes right through doesn't even fragment probably lol. Might be realistic.

20 min for a battle is amazing. I'm new but the few games i've been in have lasted over an hour
It's been edited down to just the exciting parts. Probably a shorter match still, but definitely not 20 minutes.
Vdv is of those factions that is weak unless you get a good team who know how to play to their strengths
I love this type of video moi do more of it!
12:38 brave solo soldier enemy running past the crane.
One of the key strengths from this vic is that the commander can call in assets from it.
We need more of this from Moidawg! Would love to see him in the Turkish APC!!!
Yes, the amazing PARS 25mm space-ship-sounds engine please!

Watching moi play and shout callouts instead of casting feels weird

The Royal Spuds must enlist to the Wardens again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yeah I love my very immersive noodle arms!
you guys still upset about this?
Tell me you never shot after moving without telling me you never shot after moving.
Newest cod just released, what you doing here?
@@ttpechon2535if you think not wanting the unrealistic bullshit of ICO means wanting cod idk what to tell you
This is literally just a skill issue. Manage your stamina better.
It's only near the bottom of a tier list when in the hands of the average Squad player lmao, as shown it is not that
