Greetings from New York!!! I enjoyed this "making of green tea CM" ! I didn't know MOTOKI-san had a grown up son like UTA! He is a tall, fine looking young man! I guess he took after his dad's good looks!(^^) Oh, he definitely shares his "hooked nose" with his granddad!(^^) I saw YUUYA-san's photo in his mid 30s & he was also quite nice looking back then!(^^) So he spent more than half of his life in the U.S., but his Japanese is far more decent & proper than most of Japanese kids nowadays! It really bothers me with their lack of vocabularies, incomplete sentences, over usage of "CHO xxxx!" "MECCHA xxxx!" "YABAI!" "TEKA.." "SORENA." & using lots of weird, strange KATAKANA words (ARASAA, PUCHIPURA, IKEMEN, MATSUIKU, HEBIROTE, etc) gives me a headache, as I believe Japanese language is so beautiful!(^^) It's also upsetting when the young girls...even women in their 30s talking like a drunken truck driver saying "SUGEEE!" "xxxxxx JA NAKUNE?" "TEMEEE" "KITANEEE!" etc.! I wonder if they talk like that at home & school? It's just horrible! =_= Oops! I derailed...a lot longer than I intended....My bad! I was not familiar with MOTOKI-san, until I saw the film "OKURIBITO" about a year ago. It was a great film & he was amazing in it! Then my favorite actress, KIRIN-san passed away last fall & I realized he was her son-in-law! I was impressed with his speech at the conference where he was so poised & articulate. I could feel his love & respect for KIRIN-san as a person & the actress! Then YUUYA-san's passing last month....& he again had to represent his family, delivering the news of YUUYA-san's last day & how his wife & family have been doing, etc. He impressed me again with his sincerer, heartfelt, articulate speech for the media & people who loved YUUYA-san!(^^) He might be (strictly my assumption) a little strict dad to his kids to make sure they grow up to be fine, decent, wise people & he may have insisted on UTA to keep up his Japanese....I mean... to be able to speak it properly when needed. UTA sounded responsible, mature beyond his age & he seemed to love & respect his dad both as his dad & the actor!(^^) I look forward to seeing both guys in the drama or more CM!!(^^)(^^)

@@freesian59how long ago did you leave Japan? I am just reading your comments in translations. But even as a non-Japanese I heard of words like yabai and Ikemen. Ikemen has been around for a long time. Motoki is better looking than Kimura takuya. I wonder why he is less famous than Kimura. He is the real Ikemen. Oops sorry for using the word Ikemen ,!
