This is the extended cut version of this manhunt. The main manhunt is on @dream
We decided to call this series Minecraft Manhunt. This video is a different rendition of it, where there are not FOUR hunters but FIVE instead of just one.
This is a new Minecraft but, 1.16 challenge that we have decided to try. I try to beat the game, while my friend George AND my friend Sapnap AND my friend BadBoyHalo AND my friend Antfrost AND my friend awesamdude tries to prevent me from doing it. It's a race, and it's super intense and we had a lot of laughs. I love doing these challenges.
Not Minecraft, But Water Rises or Minecraft, But Lava Rises, or any other but challenge like that. This is a speed run / speed runner of Minecraft against a killer / assassin

We love to see Sams extended minecraft knowledge lol. With his immediate realisation of Dreams plan at the End, his pickup that Dream used a stasis chamber before Dream explained it, and him knowing what the Azalea was for (random but it was just cool lmao).
I love how Dream asked him what the Azalea was because he knows that Sam is just really knowledgeable about everything Minecraft.
I really love him as the 5th Hunter I think he is a really perfect fit with everyone else.

This might be a stupid suggestion but... I'd love to see a manhunt video where you're wearing a heart rate monitor... especially during all these half a heart moments. I think it would be fun to see how nervous you're actually getting during these moments where you do these incredible clutches! :)

Yeah!! People have asked him for that before and he responded on a stream that he doesn't think he will do it, just because it wouldn't be that interesting. Like yes wow heartrate increase in stressful moment. I forget how he worded it but something like that :))

@@cleangamer220 Thats because when u are punched with a fist with no armour at all, there is a 1/2 chance that you will take half a heart damage, or no damage at all. Dream was pretty lucky then, as he could have died within the first 2 minutes of the manhunt.

I much prefer the extended version of this one. The other one was a little fast (especially for someone who's never played Minecraft) and sometimes confusing. To me, the situation with the water caves right in the beginning of the chase was a lot clearer in this version and for some other 'scenes' it was helpful and funny as well. :)
But generally, I love it! It's always exciting to see what Dream pulls off next! Well done! 👌
As a (probably often heard before) suggestion: *I think it'd be funny/cool seeing one of the hunters' perspective sometimes in between. For instance, when the villager breeding accident happened, or when Dream disappeared right in front of their eyes.* ✨ (whenever it makes sense) :)

Sam is the big brain of the hunters and i feel like there’s so many times sapnap was sooo close from killing dream in manhunt

Also it seems that Sapnap is probably the best PvPer among them. Saw a comment once where Ant is the best resource gatherer and Sam the biggest brain

I truly think the end of this manhunt is my new favourite. The absolute desperation in Sam's voice because he knows what's happening, the confusion from all the other guys because they have no idea what's happening, and Dreams elation knowing there's almost nothing they could do to stop him. What a great victory 😂
Why didn't the hunters just take out the water in the end?
this really shows how much the music, pacing, and timing can affect the final edit because while this one is great and has lots of little bonus clips, the official final edit hits a lot harder and feels more intense. can definitely understand why the other version was chosen and love being able to see what could have been too :)
Sapnap's screams kill me, he'll shout something as simple as "HE'S GETTING FOOOOOOOD" at the top of his lungs and it makes me cry every time, especially when Dream got teleported and he just kept screaming "HOWWWWWW" 😂
The fact that I watched the whole thing again after seeing it on his main...damn I could really use more manhunts in my life
Sam's reaction to the last minutes of the video will never not be funny. The fact he knew what Dream was doing and started screaming and ordering the others to do something to counteract Dream from killing the dragon will always be one of my favourite parts in this manhunt.
Even with the last manhunt, his reaction to the flying machine is S tier.
With his knowledge about minecraft and his ability to gel well with the other hunters makes him the perfect fifth hunter.
the "he's gonna instakill the dragon" added so much to the scene for me cause I had no idea what was going on.
Does anyone know why the hunters didn't just block the water so the dragon couldnt get stuck?

Statistically digging down into lava is actually quite rare. Even if he did fall into lava or gravel fell on him and he died to it, you wouldn’t see that because he’s said he doesn’t upload videos where he dies to something anticlimactic like that

Sam is definitely my favourite hunter so far, no offense to the others but he brought a major part that the hunters needed. Someone who knows what dream is up to and understands the obscure mechanics of Minecraft. All the other hunters introduced was just an extra person
Dream if you see this, just curious, why do you leave these extra bits out of the main edit? Is it because they don't fit the music/vibe? And why did you decide to make another with these extra snippets? :) are they moments you loved and wish they could have been in originally but you had to sacrifice them for the intensity of the scene? Or like with the extra bit where you make the bread on the tower, is it just so you can clarify questions people had about the last video with a few extra clips that you hadn't added?
Either way, I'm super happy about the extra content, glad you're in a productive mood, hope the video with george went well!

@@cleangamer220 he explained this on redit. I believe he said half a heart can be like 0.6 but it shows as half a heart, so when he got damage it didn't kill him bc there was still a tiny % left??? He probably explains it better lol

@@dbseamz thats just a cooldown to do crits but like 0.5 hp is the lowest dmg that can be done with fists
@@orix4157 It's not. It's true you can't deliver critical hits if your weapon isn't fully charged, but more importantly it will not deal its full damage. That's why you're not supposed to spam-click like pre-1.9.

yeah in my opinion these parts that you left out of the final cut could’ve stayed, gives slightly more context as i was a little confused at times. apart from that the main video was perfect!! the music and timing of the music was absolutely outstanding this manhunt !! love you dream 💚
I think I prefer the original ending as it has a HUGE emphasis on Sam’s realization of what was gong on, but the song speeding up with a beat was still sick, not to mention how much more of the end fight we get to see

Have you seen the dreamxd youtube channel? It's usually the extra scenes after the manhunt, they discuss stuff that happened in the manhunt

Its like watching LoTR extended edition to connect the dots of the missing scenes from the original LoTR release. This really feels a lot of dots and made this video even more worthwhile watching than the original.

@Smit Shilpatul I just mean they could do it more often. There were situations before, when it would've been interesting or funny to see someone else's POV :) But either way, I like the videos anyway

The End this time was the best ending so far. It is better than that one time he was camping a tower with a knockback bow. Definitely the most chaotic. It will be hard to top that, but with 5 hunters and a Dream, anything is possible.
the end fight is dream and sam fighting using their knowledge of the dragon's mechanics and that is awesome; dream making the dragon perch on the highest block and sam understanding that then countering by trying to keep the dragon aggroed. might be my favourite end moment in all the manhunt's.
I know right!! It was so dramatic with Sam just immediately realizing, stressing out and yelling "DONT LET IT PERCH'" then Dream just at the top of his tower, grinning and screaming "PERCH" then laughing like a Disney villain

The cave scene was so good.
I immediately like this version so much more!! It’s exactly like the other Manhunts and is edited so so much better. The music also works well with the clips, and there aren’t as many jumps in the footage!! Thank you for releasing this one Dream, I love this one. And was a little sad after you uploaded the other version as it was so different and just didn’t have the same feeling as other manhunts! I absolutely love this!

the flooded cave part had me SO ANXIOUS that one of the hunters would just,, pour lava or something over the top of the cave and trap him under obsidian;;; also the drowning aspect is *stressfulllll*
Correction if you pour lava on top of water it becomes stone. It becomes obsidian when you pour water on lava

In total with this and the original edit, I’ve watched this manhunt four times and I’m still on the edge of my seat every time. Dream did such an amazing job with both of these edits. The work put into making these videos is very appreciated!

In the last manhunt he pretended to be in a clutch situation and screamed so hunters couldn't hear him breaking the TNT, that was pretty smiliar to what you said ^^

@@lunar_gabi8983 There was another time where he almost fell in the lava and block clutched, while the hunters were trying to get George to kill a ghast. And Dream screamed at the moment George got the achievement, so other hunters thought it was because of that 🤣
