Great work! By far the best aquatic channel on YT. And these guys actually respond if you ask a question. These people are focused on the best aquatic results, pushing the limits of the scape world and putting customers first!
Cheers, thanks so much for the kind words, the encouragement, and your support!
Couldn’t stop smiling while watching this video tonight! Fun commentary!
Never be afraid to say the right words the wrong way. It’s good conversation at least and a kind friend will then get the chance to help you say it better.
I just want to say that I really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for taking the time to do them and for making them such a high quality for viewers to enjoy. I learn from them and just enjoy watching in general.
United States, Josh
Thanks Josh, you are great, it's these feedbacks that keep us going, really. Stay Tubed :)
Great video, hugs from Brazilian aquarists!
I think we need the best Brazilian aquascaper on the channel soon. Will look into it.
Sehr sympathisch und kompetent. Locker und lustig ! Toll 😆
This video is perfect. Yes yes yes! I adore your channel!
Please don't stop making video... THE BEST review n tutorial...
Thanks so much, glad you found it useful. Thanks for the support, will continue posting for sure. Stay Tubed.
Definitely my favorite video so far.
Would love to see one on different types and different ways to fertilize.
Love the music chosen. Great video as always. Thank you guys
Another quality video, full with useful information. Massive respect to the Green Aqua team👏👍👍
Really glad that they touched on how setup can impact plants in ways other than 'it won't grow'. In particular, as a beginner doing low tech I was extremely frustrated trying to get reds into the tank because they just wouldn't do it. Lots of internet wisdom led me to trying to dose more iron, putting red potters clay in the substrate, and any number of other things all to no effect. I'd also never heard it called ARM- always "AR Mini" here in my local.
Excellent tutorial video with humour and professionalism in bucketloads. I always look forward to Thursdays since finding your site. Well done guys.
Thanks so much for the support, glad you like the Thursdays because of our videos. Cheers.
Ahhh, my favorite channel, oh how I look forward to each weeks video. 🌱💚
Thanks again Pete, as always, you are great for supporting us with views and comments!
Thanks to the green aqua for giving me more experience about plants, the video is great
Loving the quality content guys. Make it a trilogy and do Aquarium Plants Tutorial Part 3 sometime this year.
Morning " team" . What a lovely video this morning, you guys should be a comedy duo, lots of fun ,but also lots of information too. Your videos always brighten my day. Thank you so much for sharing, great quality also.
Thanks for watching, and thanks for the kind comment. Love working with Tommy.
This channel is so good. Much tutorial and guide for us as a beginner aquascape haha and low tech non CO2 tank!! Thanks much
جزاك اللهُ
Thank you
I’ve found that Staurogyne Repens works well for carpeting without CO2. Especially in a shallow tank. You can take trimmings and plant nearby and it fills in very nicely.
Yes stauro is a good low-tech plant, but you'll have to trim it often to keep it low. Some people just don't like that effort - including me, haha.
Looking forward to more educational videos of the beautiful world of aquascaping!keep them coming!
Awesome video! Your channel is probably my favorite one, you guys always provide lots of information in a nice way! And your videos really helped me with setting up my first high tech tank! Greetings from Poland, whenever I’ll be passing by Budapest, i’ll make sure to visit you!
That is cool to hear, looking forward to have you over someday! Thanks for the kind comment!
Ace video thank you for the inspiration to start my first ever tank
That is a cool project, so exciting. Good luck with it Matthew, and remember: you'll be better and better with every scape you do, so don't expect to be perfect with the first one. This a very nice learning process.
So thankful for these videos. You guys are great
Fyi, I would totally watch a video about specific plant families. Lol y’all have an entertaining banter and the backdrop is beautiful. Plus I am learning. :)
Cheers Kelly, you are most kind, glad you liked this vid, thanks for the feedback!
Thank you for this very informative and educational video. Cordially sincerely.
Love this video type! Please make more like this. I wish I can order plants from you to help support the channel but I live in USA. Great videos thanks for the info!
Thanks for that! You can support us by just watching and commenting. It means a lot, really! Cheers!
The only plant I got red color from in a low grade tank was Melon plant, and I had to add liquid iron daily. I love to listen to your accent and you do really well with English. Keep up the good work! WV USA
Thanks Jennifer, doing my best :) Yeah, Iron helps with the red colors too, but it's mainly the light...
Oh my!!!! That many subtitles!!! Love your। videos. Thanks for helping us in this hobby . Love from Bangladesh
Another great video, lots of info - very helpful. I will be watching this a few more times as I get closer to a high tech set up.
Thanks guys - loving your work
Marc from uk
Thanks for the feedback mate, your support is much appreciated - as always. Cheers.
Another question... if I were to set up a low tech tank with only epiphyte plants would I still need to use an aqua soil base or would a sterile gravel/ pebble base be ok as I would be adding liquid fertilizers?
Thanks for your help
It is not necessary, and it would be more beautiful to use some decoration sand around the structure you build.
Another great clip guys ! I take pride in saying I’ve learned most of all i know from greenaqua Farmer and Jurijs videos ! I wish I could attach my tanks picture so you guys can see how much of an impact you guys make ! Love the videos guys
Thanks David, so glad we contributed to your enjoyment of the hobby. Mission accomplished, really.
totally forgot this was Thursday! lol really love this video!!! so useful for people like me who don't have co2!
Wonderful lesson, Thank you both, yes start learning the Latin words for my friends who will visit my house. lol
EXCELENTE POR FIN LA TRADUCCUION BIEN SEÑORES SON LOS MEJORES
Thanks so much, glad you like the 'innovation' here. Sorry, that it is automatic subtitles only, but this is what we could do now.
Like. Спасибо огромное ребята за перевод. Видео стало смотреть намного комфортнее. Thanks from Russia.
Cheers, it's auto translate but that's what we could do in a short run. Will add that to our older videos too.
Thank you. For responding my comment . Lots of love to you people from Bangladesh . We love watching your videos . ❤❤❤❤❤
Quarantine. That's one word he wouldn't miss pronounce after 3 months of corvid. Great vid. Please do more of this you two.
Guess what, I said it and UA-cam demonetized that video thinking I'm talking about the pandemic. I had to dispute that and it got released. Haha.
Green Aqua is my favourite channel on UA-cam. I hope you guys post the videos a bit more frequently. 💚
Thanks for the support, glad you like what we do. Our production quality can only be ensured with weekly one video - on Thursday, with occasional cinematic short on Monday. We simply can't do more, we spend too much time with the production - more than you can imagine. Plus we're answering all comments, I don't know many youtubers who do that.
good one guys.. 🎉
Love all your videos very informative on how to use different types of plants my favorite plant is the anubia nana petite in one the pet store near me had only one time albino anubia nana petite and I was wondering does Green Aqua carries this plant
i really enjoy these types of Q&A videos. One of the commenters mentioned that you should do a video on specific plant species, which i completely agree with. A 3-4 min video outlining the pro's and cons of each plant and tips on how to use them in a scape would go a long way towards helping us rookies progress in this hobby. Maybe break it out into a separate mini series? Anyway, keep up the good work and thank you for putting out quality content.
Now that you backed up the idea I'm really starting to think on how to do this. Thanks!
I would love this!! It's hard to find videos on specific plant types some times and these guys would fill that void with a series on that
luminophila grows really well in low tech setups. its my favourite background plant
Thanks for sharing your experience with us, and thanks for watching too. Cheers.
Literally filling my brains with info everytime I watch one of your videos guys. I love how you all explain things, and how honest you guys are too. It really helps me (and I'm sure others) plan out their aquariums and maintain them afterwards. For example I planted hair grass (was told it wouldnt need co2) and it pretty much melted within four days, if only I watched this video before I bought the hair grass hahaha but I'll be adding co2 soon after hearing your advice. Thank you, you damn beautiful people
Cheers, thanks for the cool comment! Glad you found the info we provide useful! Really.
Watching you guys is the perfect way to relax and learn in the same time. You are the best, thank you for making my day. 🙏👌👍😊😍
Once i used hair grass in non Co2 tank, and it didn't make it, totally melted, so Tamás was right about that : hair grass need Co2. This is my opinion. 😄😉
Today, 3 months into my high tech nanoscape, I hate stem plants too. I never knew why you guys didn’t like it but now I know. Two bowls of trimmed plants was ridiculous lol.
I would love video about plants for higher water temperatures. Greetings from sizzling Arizona!
I just can’t decide whether to choose a cube, 20 or 30 l, but I will definitely have another aquarium soon, albeit a nano :-) thank you for this video!
The bigger the better - it's more stabile and you can keep more fish. 20 liter is very very small.
Water temperature in planted tanks is often overlooked, good to see you guys mention it in your videos.
If someone talk to me and i don't want to talk to them. I recite all the plants i learned in green aqua. Hahaha Thank you Sir for making my life easier understanding plants.
I love watching your videos because you teach a lot and it's not boring at all as you make fun of your fellow mates in the middle 😜.. can you teach us how to grow moss in detail as a single video ?
Moss is really easy to grow, I don't think that is a topic that should be covered separately. Most types are fine even without CO2.
Useful video
Need video above how to sink driftwood
Driftwood usually sinks. If not, you can tie it to a rock that you place it underneath (with cable ties) or you can just weigh it down with rocks initially. Check out our setup videos, all is explained there.
I really like lilaeopsis brasiliensis and it's one of the best plant for low tech. I even had a tank that I want to rescape and had those ant in a tank with 2 months light off and this plant was in a extremely good shape green and great.
I agree on the dwarf hair grass, I planted a lot of it in a non-co2 tank and it all died. I used liquid fertilizer but to no avail.
Always a great topic for discussion. I just stick with plants that are good for my water parameters, hard and acidic. I won't use co2 injection until I learn everything I can about low tech plants and everything relatable about it, lights, substrates etc. I will get into the beautiful world of co2 in the future thank to you guys, but no need to rush the learning process, I'm having a lot of fun with my tanks and watching green aqua every week.
Yeah, that's the proper way, take your time, and do things at your own pace. Much better than running forward like crazy, I agree.
Thanks for your videos for beginners guys. Can u suggest plants for discus aquarium with high techs. (For 150x60x60)
Tq beo
Green Aqua, please upload a video about how to fertilize, lights intensity control, do water changes day by day right after a new setup. Thank you!
Very helpful videos? Are you ever going to do live-streams? Or do you already and I just haven’t seen them yet, I am fairly new to the channel, only been watching for about one month. Thanks for all the help guys :)
We do some livestreams nowadays on instagram, but the quality of these will not meet our standards, so we usually stick to this format - it seams to be working fine.
Have you thought about the reverse osmosis video? Which type to choose, how to start using RO water, advantages, disadvantages. What to watch out for. thanks
I did a maintenance video and RO guide just last week Ladislav. Don't miss that. :)
After 1 month of using no co2, i switched to high-tech aquascaping and i have never looked back and regretted my decisions. thank you for producing such great quality videos!
@@kuatiogui Low tech is no co2, high tech is with co2
of course with co2 you need more light as theres more co2 in water
@@selwop1 i see, thanks. Something ive been wondering. Fish take in oxygen and give out c02. Plant take in c02 and give out oxygen. Isnt there a conflict of interest here?
The really big problem for me, is that you can't find even half of those plants here (I live in Chile)...
I just can watch and dream... That's good enough (for now)
Nice video! :)
Cheers, glad you liked them, hope you'll be able to get some cool plants soon, I know our friends from Brazil have everything somehow though...
Remember, when there were only ~50 plants in the hobby? Ahhhh... the nostalgia!
16:34 it makes me laugh too. i also googled it what is the meaning of it. LOL
My day doesn’t get complete until I hear the line
“Welcome to the beautiful world of Aquascaping “
Cheers, thanks for the kind comment. Stay Tubed then!
