This song is perfect. You have that whining noise that comes and goes smoothly and fits the song. You have that spacious/cavernous noise in the background that makes you feel like you are floating. You have that sweet, smooth bassline in the background which soothes you. All that makes me feel like I'm wandering in a majestic, beautiful forest or in a prairie on a beautiful day, and along with that comes that twinkling noise and whooshing noise at almost the end of the song which replicates the wind. It's beautiful. At the very end, that sweet melody evokes, for me, sadness and nostalgia. I wish it was longer, but any longer would be ruin it unfortunately ._.

Many times in my life I question myself, "What am I doing? What will get me to be a better person?" But alas, there is no answer. Nobody hears you, and you don't hear them. The void of endless thoughts lies between the two. But the 4 minutes you take to listen to the absolute masterpiece in front of you, it seems though that a bridge forms. With the emotion and emphasis this song expresses, I felt like articulating my words and feeling in such a manner. This song deserves an explicit explanation rather than a casual day-to-day chat since this song paints a dreary, decaying image in my head while glistening the world around me.

I’m 17 right now, this game made up so much of my childhood. I didn’t care if I was “popular” or not, I didn’t care if I had money or not, I didn’t care how I looked. I was at peace, and I was happy. The atmosphere and ambiance of this piece is so relaxing, so psychedelic, so tranquilizing...that I wish it was longer. Twice as long, I'm thinking. It's just too beautiful to only be 4 minutes long, or only 3.5 minutes if you don't count the piano outro.
Fun Fact : C418 was influenced by Radiohead by one of the tracks on the album Kid A, The Track is Called Treefingers and he loved it so much that he decided to pay homage to the track Treefingers and that’s how Floating Trees was born. ( I recommend you checking out the track, it has really similar sounds and a fantastic ambient song )

Me and my twin cousin (we like 12yrs old , same birth month, 4 days difference, he's a male) still play minecraft when it first released. Everytime I visit him, we would play minecraft like for hours and I remember we were building a tree house and this music starts playing. We are planning our future youtube channel in 6 years of us playing this. This song brings me back memories of me and my cousin playing. Minecraft for me and my cousin, will never get old.

dude i can totally agree with you. every single time i listen to this song in the title screen everytime i log onto minecraft, i just think about the times i first played. And trying to sleep is a problem because the nostalgia i keep thinking about is keeping me awake. I am physically and mentally unable to sleep unless i take my mind off it by watching tiktoks or youtube, but other wise, this song just hits the hardest out of all of them, i mean it.

I've already commented on this video twice, but this track just came up on my shuffle playlist, and I can't help it.
This track...is freaking amazing. I slept on it for a long time, but in the past half a year I've noticed just how nuanced, how intellectual, how downright beautiful this is. It's one of the best moments of the whole Volume Beta, and that's a high bar to pass. My whole world suddenly disperses into a relaxed ever-flowing state of matter when it plays.
Floating Trees gives me the feeling that the song is the sounds of a breathing living being. I dont know how to explain it. How you hear a quiet wave of sound in a lower note, and a few seconds later, a new wave of sound, louder and stronger. It's a beautiful song for meditating. I never could decide which minecraft song is my favorite, but this one must be top 5 for sure. So beautiful.

Something about this composition brings so much peace. Very much peace in this stressful time.
Even when the tension inevitably builds to create motion it is often in the background and comes across more as "rushing" rather than tense. Which then silently resolves by fading away to the chords around them or is interrupted by the next section. Such an interesting piece from my youth, to not move quickly yet have such strong energy; an energy that is vibrant yet still peaceful.

i usually associate this with "Timed out" or "Server closed" or something that disconnects me from a server, because thats when it usually plays. and its really fitting for those moments too. it just feels lonely

A few years ago I had a brutal break up with my girlfriend after one of the worst nights of my life and got home at around 3 AM. I was exhausted, drunk, mentally destroyed and felt too restless to go to bed so I just sat at the park bench outside my apartment listening to one of my playlists and this song happened to start playing. It was exactly at 0:41 that I just bit my fist and the tears started. Something within the music just spoke to me, whispering that i could have this quiet fleeting reflection of my life and that it was okay.
Thankfully I'm in a far better place that I was then, but listening to this song takes me back to that cold park bench. Music truly is a therapy in its own right.
This song is going to be in my "space out" playlist where I listen to these Minecraft songs and get myself really relaxed

This gives me some of the biggest nostalgia ever. I remember playing back in the beta edition of Minecraft. The game has come such a long way in the nearly past decade that I've played it. Minecraft has come such a long way.
I wonder how many people truly have the nostalgia of playing this game. There are so many new players that don't know about the old versions of Minecraft; I've seen many try out the Beta versions and Release 1.0, and they're like "This is just like normal Minecraft. There are just less blocks to choose from." It's so, so much more than less blocks.
