I have a place in Playa Langosta. If your looking for a relaxing day you can go to the Langosta Beach Club, its maybe another minute past where he went into the beach access parking area. The pool area is private but if you order a bucket of beers (or any drink/food) you can use their lounge chairs on the beach.
That is just what I was looking for. I'll be in town early, and won't be able to check in immediately. It would be great to be able to stay next to the car with baggage inside. Thanks a bunch!
I will be there the 1st week of August. We are staying at the Planet Hollywood, in the Guanacaste Province but would like to venture out. What is the best way to get out and explore? We are not renting a vehicle.
Planet Hollywood is pretty far out there. Perhaps they have a shuttle to head in to Liberia. Cabs will be expensive. There could be a municipal bus that goes from the Four Seasons towards town. Depending on how long your trip is, and how many days you'd like to explore a car would be worth it. Anything in specific you'd like to do for exploring?
@@sights.sounds I have been making notes of some things of interest. I didn't realize when I was making arrangements how far everything is, so I'm trying to find attractions within a 2 hour drive (give or take). Our group would like to go ziplining, see the rainforest/waterfalls and wildlife, maybe a coffee/chocolate tour and of course markets/shopping. My main concern is getting from one place to another.
@@FrancescaUlibarri So within about 2 hours I'll link some stuff to check out Coffee Tour - Tio Leo Coffee in Communidad - We've inquired here but yet to do the tour. I think it was about $40pp // goo.gl/maps/h2GAHdfBfSWFEJWe9 Ziplining - DIamante Eco Adventure Park - Our kids have been, they loved it and there's a wildlife center here as well // shorturl.at/qtQ68 Poza Los Coyotes - I recommend this one for everyone, it's got a blue river, waterfall and tubing. Cost of entry is very low at about $2pp // ua-cam.com/video/MT3M6zMfCdE/v-deo.html Market - Liberia has a market on (I believe) Friday and Saturday mornings, and Playas del Coco has a good market on Sunday Mornings // Liberia ua-cam.com/video/k3jqOe-n0ww/v-deo.html Coco goo.gl/maps/5EYQVjy5QovZbgsGA
@@FrancescaUlibarri For all the above mentioned activities check out La Fortuna. The best zip lines and has all the above mentioned activities. I live about15 miles south of La Fortuna plus swimming in the rivers with in walking distance. Good luck.
It's just up the road from where this video is. I have a video up of Playa Langosta which is closer to that resort. 🤙 ua-cam.com/video/D-kyaLtUOQs/v-deo.html
I know most people like this stuff --- BUT I would not enjoy this part of CR for no more than a visit.. Please If you visit CR be sure to go to the -- how you say -- the backwoods,,,, Yup the real CR . Tourists miss the best of CR , PEOPLE , PLACES (Non touristy), The True value of CR is HOSPITALITY of the people. When you are invited to a meal with a family & cannot speak the same language you must be honored beyond belief

I usually only visit Tamarindo for the day. It's too busy for me.
Any locations like you say that I should visit and check out?
Gringo oriented town...too americanized. Got extorted by nail salon owner there. Be aware !!
