Lol, I love those Alec Guinness stories. Alec Guinness also got a percentage of the profits, he did very, very well indeed. Probably the most he's ever made.
You're absolutely correct, Ben. There are sequels to Star Wars like The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi and the new sequels like The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi And The Rise Of Skywalker. The prequel were released from 1999 to 2005 which tells about Anakin Skywalker before he became Darth Vader. I like the prequels because Samuel L Jackson plays Jedi Master Mace Windu with his purple lightsaber and I love sword fighting movies.
I think Ben and TCM should do better research. I distinctly remember the Episode IV A New Hope being added in the 1979 re-release. I remember people's heads turning to the person next to them with puzzlement. This was getting us ready for the following year's next installment. By the time Empire came out, we knew it would be Episode V and there was no confusion.
A great shoutout to the great *Alan "Laddie" Ladd Jr.*
Thanks, 20th Century-Fox.
And he just died this year. If it wasn't for Alan Ladd Jr's support, there wouldn't be a Star Wars. So thank you Alan Ladd Jr. We salute you.
Like how Mankiewicz totally avoided the Special Edition discussion.
You mean the 1997 Special Edition version, of course.
Naminski you know there are more Special Editions that exists.

The Disney Sequel Trilogy is garbage, ignore it entirely!

You mean The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.
I'm a Star Wars fan and want to join George Lucas' company and learn a lot from him. George Lucas is one of my favorite filmmakers in Hollywood.
You mean Lucasfilm Ltd. and 20th Century-Fox is one of my favorite Hollywood movie studios.
I love Star Wars! Luke, Han, Leila, Darth Vader, the droids, they’re all incredible!
Oops, misspelled Leia, lol!

Actually, Episode IV subtitle was added in the opening crawl for the 1981 re-release, not 1979. Fix it, please.
