This is exactly what I needed. I've been so stressed out for the past three weeks that Im literally on the verge of losing my shit because I've had nothing I could do to get rid of it no matter what I did. Hopefully this helps cus if it gets any worse I might do something I'll probably end up regretting.

I have created an everchanging personal playlist called, *'Yawn'* ,
in it I put only a handfull of vids, selected from the small list of ASMR channels to which I am subscribed.
I change it at the rate of about 3 vids a week, replacinging the ones that no longer 'work' for me with some new 'finds'.
At night, when I actually want to start sleeping, I put in my earphones, start the playlist with that night's prefered video first, and set it to play the rest randomly.
Then I switch off the screen, close my eyes, and I'm *A L W A Y S*
out like a light within five to ten minutes after that.......
Strangely though, I do NOT AT ALL like ASMR channels that feature audio only! I don't know why but it pisses me off

You haven't failed life, not yet. You need to hit that right mix of outrage and pride where you feel like you need to improve but also that you are WORTH improving.
Start with school, start acquiring skills and get to exercising. The girlfriend might not come along this year, but if you work on yourself you will come to someone's attention. It is hard for others to see your value if you can't.
I am not saying that you can just snap your fingers and cure depression, there could be other reasons for it, but I promise you won't be worse off for having tried.
