@@TimberSurf Nice to hear, but what did you actually use at the exhibition, as I am only using basic Hornby controller, If I thought a PWM controller could the same for me or something close, then I would buy one, thanks
@@toucan221 The layouts at the show were a mix of DC and DCC, have a look at my guide about PWM www.lumsdonia.co.uk/dimming.html, it is possible to make locos, creep with them, as its the same technology used in fancy DCC onboard decoders
Great show exhibited at the Ellesmere show few years back at the town hall and at Wrexham show sadly no more great to see Ellesmere show still going strong👍
Beautiful and good detailled scenery!
Small show but some class layouts
Loved the animated figures on Albert Road layout, especially the painter👍🤓😀
Made by Viessmann and cost €50ea
Nice one as usual TS, thanks for the upload
You are most welcome bud.
Some nice layouts there Timber. 👍
Seen a few before, but some nice new ones too
some of the locos were driving very nicely at slow speed, I'm guessing that's they were on Digital it certainly did its job. 😃😃
DCC is not a prerequisite for slow running, some Pulse Width Modulation (PWM modern transistor controllers) can give very good low speed running😁

I think the town hall is being refurbished, hence the new venue. I wish the Wrexham one would be revived, as its my home town!
@@TimberSurf sadly I can’t see the Wrexham show coming back in the near future great shame my home town also
Amused by Little Knittington - haven't seen that before! - - I wonder where St Seeb was vaguely modelled after?! 🙂
I have never seen a whole knitted layout before, only a few items of trees. Blurb says St Seeb is based on a small town in the North west
