  • I've been getting a lot of questions about how Weddingwire advertising/paid marketing has worked out for me so far but there are too many details to do anything less than a video. So... here you go! Answers to most of the questions i've been asked about pricing, value and the knot vs weddingwire. This video is totally my thoughts and opinions and is not in any way sponsored or endorsed by weddingwire.

    I'm a wedding planner and just signed up for their pro account and haven't been having any luck with even getting people to my page let alone getting leads. I was just wondering of there is certain images that you have noticed that will capture attention and how many reviews you were able to get when you started. Im reaching out to past clients attempting to get reviews but its been hard. I'm wondering if there is a sweet spot.

      I haven't found a sweet spot with images, I would say 5 to 10 minimum to give a good idea of your work. Reviews I have found are extremely important, though. I would push really hard to get reviews because without reviews you're never going to get any bookings on wedding wire. I already had reviews on wedding wire when I started advertising. I would reach out to your past clients and offer them an Amazon gift card or something to copy/write a new review on the site.

      There are plenty but I have never found them to be any more worth it than weddingwire/the knot

    Any tips for getting out of the contract?

    • @DJALEXBROWN
      @DJALEXBROWN  2 роки тому

      My only tip would be if they didnt allow you to read the contract before entering it (ie you paid over the phone then got the contract) you might be able to get out of it but if they let you out you will surely have your account cancelled and any reviews/ and your profile taken down.. You could also put a merchant block on the credit card you have that prevents them from charging it, but again, expect your account to get closed and you will likely be banned from the site. Also their newer contracts are basically bulletproof, mine had some flaws I probably could have gotten out of it with a good lawyer but they fixed all those holes now.

    Avoid WeddingWire and the knot! They lock you into a 12-month contract you cannot get out of. If you do want to cancel after your first year is up, they will do everything in their power to try to stop you. Once you do leave, they retain the rights to everything you have put up on their website
