at 7:08 you drive past my house on the right, now white stucco, was brick, hedges are gone, so is the enclosed porch. wow, have not been back since 1980. Saw it once as a funeral procession I was in drove past it.
@@goodjawn610 Yes they were, with Hedges all around them, all the way up Plum street. My dad was a policeman there. We moved there from Chester (McCafferty Village - now gone), but I worked in Chester until I left. That is why I also comment on your Chester videos. This ride through Media was different from your last one, the night ride. Still, this brought back a lot of memories, where I delivered the Daily Times, Nativity School, and for a second, you can see the church steeple as you drove do Baltimore Pike, Boy Scouts at the Methodist Church, several of my friends' houses. Good stuff, thanks again.
@@JoeCiliberto Nice thanks for sharing that Joe. I like hearing people's stories and memories from the places I drive thru. Mccaff is still there by the way they just rebuilt part of it.. I drive thru it in one of my older videos.. its one of my first 5 videos so it's probably at the bottom of the list
@@JoeCiliberto I was wrong Mcaff was the 2nd video I ever did but I took it down cause I messed up some edits and never fixed it but I'm about to re upload it for ya today.
@@justinwatch Yeah Buddy, the place to be. We hung out there Summer '77 - '80. Uniform of the day - Leather jackets (Hannum's H-D) Sears engineer boots, Chain drive wallets from Jekyll's Hide and Levi's 501's. We supported the economy of the Mall. - Haa Those were some care free good times.
Nice video. My family moved away in 1976. You drove around the back of the block I grew up on. Loved seeing the trolley.

Beautiful street, always colorful with all the plants and trees.. I think I remember those old houses, where they brick twin homes?

I think eventually the MEDIA TROLLEY may be extended further. That would be awesome.
Great ride thanks,
Fade to the faded Granite Run Mall..
Used to skip last class at Penncrest and go over to Aladdin's Castle back in 76.
