Did you guys actually save the cat? I mean... As a seasoned cat owner i could tell that cat was seriously injured and by the breathing rate he was in bad shape needed immediate vet care. Are there vets in that village? Did the cat really survive?

You should have taken the cat home and treated it. It was bleeding from its mouth. It was probably hit by a car. A few days of care might save it's life. Being Injured it will die of thirst and hunger or some vehicle will hit it. Please don't neglect injured animals. A little help can save it's life
