R D Burman was, is n will be the inspiration to Gen x n Gen y, a man of music n innovation. He could do everything in 5 or 10 minites if someone gave him an atmosphere, situations n states of mind of anyone. And guys also very talented personalities and well trained in Indian raagas. Thanks a lot.
I am a hard die fan of Sachin Debbarman and Pancham, hailing from Tripur Dynasty means Tripura. I never knew that such song like "Chura liya hai" & O mere Sona re Sona are made on Indian classical Ragaa. I thought, came from Western Impact. Its a lovely ❤ presentation from your side. Thanks. Chura liya (Pilu) and Golmaal hai bhai (Bilawal).. Never thought of these songs to fit into any 'raag notation'. The idea that most of the common non-semiclassical songs can be explained in the light of raag is not known to many of us, especially songs like these two. Wonderful work and research. The background setup with the radio was just appropriate.

After watching your first video by chance , i got addicted to listening to you everyday at least one video without fail. There is so much magic in your voice, it straight touches the soul. Thanks for such indepth into RD burman's music.Such rich and soul touching compositions.Both of you are doing a wonderful job bringing our awareness back,because today'music,even the best songs are no match to the Era of SD Burman,Rd Burman ,Madan Mohan and all the rest.They were all great.They only made great or at least good songs. Today if someone has composed 20 good songs and 2000 bad songs you can't call him a genius. Genius never makes bad songs.Any way thanks guys. Give us more.

Happy 2023 from Boston....Tomraa bhalo korechho...Every song, the Scale (..Benchmark "S" ) was changed / higher / lower as per the Song structure....For example...PILU scale was much in Taar Saptak.....LALIT you made Shuddha M as 'S'...( which in Reverse, that Original 'S" would have made it Mianki Todi...)...Good idea...Your efforts appreciated....

পিয়ানো ও গান দুয়েরি নিন্দার কোনো জয়গা নেই। কিন্তু দশ খানা রাগে দশখানা একলাইন কোরে গান শুনে মন ভরল না। তবে ইমন রাগে তিন সপ্তক লাগানোটা অনবদ্য। সৌম্যজিতের কাছে একটা অনুরোধ আছে ---কিছুদিন আগে যেমন 'নাম গুম জায়গা' সম্পূর্ণ গানটি শুনতে পেলাম ; সেরকম যদি পরভীন সূলতানার 'হামে তুমসে পেয়ার কিতনা' গানটি শুনতে পাই তাহলে খুব আনন্দিত হবো। Shiboranjoni রাগে যে ছোটো সরগমটা শুনলাম একদম শেষের দিকে নি পা এর বদলে নি সা হবে।
