Hey SloppyJalopy! Thanks for being the first person to comment on my new video. It's so much fun cutting tubing with this machine. Are you making any glass?
Yeah, it's pretty amazing for cutting tubing. Mine can cut tubing over 100 mm which is awesome. Plus it makes a cleaner cut than the ring saw. The ring saw makes microfractures in the glass which can lead to cracks. The crack-off machine makes cuts without fractures.
Oh nice the biggest i cut was 75 mm x2.5 for gl 75 would tool it with hydrogen on my torch for roller bottles would close it at 300 mm length, awesome like yiur videos
@@rafaelmunoz6415 Yeah hydrogen is what a lot of people use. I'm not setup for it so I use propane. Appreciate the feedback on the videos. I'll have a ribbon cane video coming out soon.
This is so cool! All that effort was worth it!
Lol OMG so worth the three weeks of time trying to get this to work.
You've been a huge inspiration. You keep me motivated to keep learning this wonderful hobby. Keep the videos coming and I'll keep watching.

Hi JH! No problem. Not many people have even heard of a crack-off machine and it was more fun for me to make than any other purpose lol.
I use to cut standard and heavey wall for roller bottles on the crack off machine 40 ×3.2 and 40 x2.0 for GL 45 schott glass
