Think of the first season of the clone wars animated series it was very expensive and we all know some of the characters were well questionable until the third season. It takes more than one season to grow an audience.

There is nothing wrong with accepting that for the money spent, it was a bad show. It had good moments or scenes but overall not worth the amount of money.
