First train to Wallangarra

On 4 April 2009, a young preservation group ran their first ever train from Warwick, 100kms south through Stanthorpe and down to the border towns of Wallangarra/Jennings. This was a huge effort hampered by difficult weather.
Enjoy watching the first ever time SDSR rolled into the station.

Travelled overnight in the 1950s from Toowoomba via Wallangarra to my grandparents in Newcastle. Great memories.
