First time I've seen someone use a mixer to make jam. The Swedish way is to just throw the berries and everything into the pot and boil it. Which you'll see if you buy a jar of jam from the store, it always has whole berries in it!
Oh really? The couple jam tutorials I saw mixed it, haha. For the gooseberries I think it was the right choice, but later jams I didn´t bother mixing anymore either.. :)
@@lisasomewhere88 I have a friend who lived in London for a number of years, and at one point we discussed Swedish things he missed in London. The thing I remember was that he missed jam with berries in it. So it could very well be something that is specifically Swedish.
