Nice to see a small operation with close friendship in potential situations. Miss my fishing opportunities. Thanks for sharing from an American living in the Philippines. 👍🐟

Just Great to see it without any frills, going out to sea isn't all about how good the weather is, ive been out in many weather conditions that the met office hasn't forecasted, but it's made for an interesting day.👍⭐

Spent many happy holidays in Guernsey decades ago (also in Jersey and Alderney) - good to be reminded of your wonderful island.

What I like the most about Guernsey is that they've kept more of their soul, their identity and completely sold-out to big finance (like the other big Channel Island, Jersey). The people of Guernsey are very friendly, there's a lovely mix of independent shops in town, lots of original architecture, not a lot of faceless buildings for faceless companies (Jersey)...... and beautiful countryside outside of the main areas...... They are proud of their heritage. I've spent many-a-many long weekend there and it's one of my favourite places. ATB

I don't know about closest pub to a church, but The Bell in Harborne, Birmingham is (I think), the only pub in Britain that's built on consecrated ground.

Takes me back working on an IP23 on a netter/potter out of Littlehampton. At times due to the large swells in the channel, one moment it was sky around you, the next sea when you feel you’re about to be swamped. Putting my hand on the roof of the wheelhouse to keep my feet on the floor makes you realise how insignificant you are when at sea.
Whenever I hear anyone complain over the cost of fish, I tell them to catch it themselves.

That boat could take that all day that just came to the crew when would they call it a day theres different levels of fishermen. Fishermen. Good fishermen. And plane mad fishermen but know how to make pay im number 3 not scared of the sea but respect it or yr come unstuck

Nah you just need a bigger boat, those conditions are small. btw if you value your short time on earth jump to at least the 25 minute mark, this is a very ordinary fishing clip. Actually don't bother just go and watch some Aussie cray fishing along our Southern Australian coastline if you want to see genuine wild weather and skipper abilities fishing in serious rollers
