this never gets old to me. Perfect cover. whenever I feel down, i just play this song and everything feels a little weightless. only people with anxiety would know
Awesome, found so many songs excellently redone by this awesome band. Some even came out better through the fray. But CWR will always have their songs locked down hard.
My dad sings this all the time and I'm always like '' DAD S H U T U P '' and then I came across this and was like ''why not.'' and thank you very much dad I love you and you can sing this whenever you want.
the frey have you ever seen the rain reminds me of my friend Madison becuase that was her grandfathers favorite song and he had passed away not to long ago so she sang that in the talent show and she started to cry becuase of how much it ment to her.
I 've heard the versions of The Spin Doctors, Joan Jett, Rod Stewart, The Fray, Bonnie Tayler and even Philip Phillips they're all good and I liked them all, but of course the original by CCR is the one in everybody;s mind, maybe because we heard it so many times on radio back in the day. But in all honesty, if I had to pick one professional cover, I favor Joan Jett's version.
I really enjoy the rain it helps plants grow offers a renewing but the worst rain is knowing the tears i caused my true love. So many ask her to take a walk holding hands embrace kiss in the rain as the rain from our eyes hopeful happiness
@LuLuLovers23 ...To the best of my knowledge, Rod Stewart didn't do a cover of this song, it is however done (originally) by Creedence Clearwater Revival, (a 60's band)
@thatfoolbiff It is my personal opinion that this cover is great. I'm sorry you don't agree. If you don't like it, please click on another video instead of flaming here. And don't insult our tastes, as they're just as good as yours. Thanks for understanding ;)
My brother did actually play this song for me when I was in coma. When I woke up, and later heard this song, I could every word and line of it...
I like this lyric, eventho I'm deaf woman i can hear sound, beats.. i read words i loved it..

this never gets old to me. Perfect cover. whenever I feel down, i just play this song and everything feels a little weightless. only people with anxiety would know
This just proves what artists the fray are. They can put themselves into everything they do and make it great. Best band ever.

This isn't the original, this is just a cover, your dad is probably singing the original by CCR.
a hard song to make your own, and they did it! Though, CCR can never be beaten.
SERIOUSLY! The Fray could sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and make it sound AWESOME!
I like it.
now poets write poetry and historians write history but the fray they just write beauty
the frey have you ever seen the rain reminds me of my friend Madison becuase that was her grandfathers favorite song and he had passed away not to long ago so she sang that in the talent show and she started to cry becuase of how much it ment to her.

Good cover of CCR.
Maybe a better example would be The Fray could sing "Baby" and it would sound awesome! That would take a lot of talent to pull off...
I like this version but nothing compares to CCR!! I get chills when I hear this song
It isn't their song, but it is them performing this...

@LuLuLovers23 ...To the best of my knowledge, Rod Stewart didn't do a cover of this song, it is however done (originally) by Creedence Clearwater Revival, (a 60's band)

When it says sun is cold and rain is hard, is that the calm or the storm??
@Technologeek92 That makes me sad. Yes, it's from Creedence Clearwater Revival originally.
That awkward moment when I thought Iknew every TheFray song, but this.
I have when I was 5 I seen it rain and it rains on me in the sun no clouds
Yes... yes o have seen the rain. O.o
its raining hard now
er, actually I'm pretty sure the original is by Creedence Clearwater Revival, who made it super famous.
I think we all have at one point or another
@iliveinnarnia10 this is actually kind of a country song... that would be why it sounds it... it was originally sung by Creedance clear water
original is the song from creedance clearwater revival ^^
No buddy. CCR wrote it on their album Pendulum.
Awesome(:
But CCR better. Just sayin

Not wanting to spoil your logic but this song was previously performed by Rod Stewart and written by John Fogerty.
