And then the creators of that rewind want to give you to see through POV of middle to low economy people in indonesia and of course indonesia the nation it self when facing the hard time due to pandemic. Lot of indonesian lost their loved one in 2021, and the nation also facing lot of problem too like a corruption, greedy people who makes "profit" from covid moment..... and the creators of this rewind have a strong message "we still have hopes in our hand to recover together and recover stronger!" So thats a little bit explanation from me... i hope thats can clear your confusion 😁😁✌👍
There were paintings of a submarine, a plane, and forest that are actual happenings that happened in early 2021. The plane was a Sriwijaya airplane that crashed into the sea, the sunken submarine that sank in the waters near Bali, and then there were forest fires, volcano eruptions, etc.
The dancing scene when the mother is sick potray sitokin storm that become the cause of most covid death in 2021 atleast in Indonesia, people that have gone better during the first week suddenly worsen or even died in the second week because of this medical anomali. The gold symbolized how covid taken all the money people have to get medication and in the end they will still end up dead. The red troop symbolized how the immunity in final stage still try to protect the body all they can but still failed miserably... The light lamp and mother transforming symbolized how the covid victim that died had become one with mother earth and not suffering anymore. The kid symbolize the Covid Orphans that keep adding up during 2 years of pandemic, most of them lost both of their parents.
i know this will seam odd, But I am finding through making these videos that i don't know very much about places outside of where I live. And while we pretend we have bad healthcare the US has amazing compared to some of the less fortunate country's.

To give you an additional context, on the gun shooting scene, it depicted the motherland (Indonesia) was unwell due to Covid and all. But, while the mother is dying, there are still some greedy people who wanted to take personal benefits out of the pandemic situation (these are - as you might already know - all true events) through some excessive Covid fund corruptions.
Also, the kid actually portrays Indonesian people themselves. At the end of the day, although the kid became lonely, Mother is like telling you “Don’t worry, kid, as long as you serve me well, I’ll always be around. Just be good on your own.”
Fight scene in my opinion : Tentara putih artinya sel darah putih (leucocyt) yang menyerang balik sel darah merah (erythrocyt)... this called cytokine storm the reaction after corona virus had gone, which is the body has infected so bad... badai sitokin ini sangat mahal biaya penyembuhannya, sang sutradara Chandra liow mengalami sendiri yang hingga menghabiskan hampir 1 Miliar rupiah, dilambangkan dengan rebutan emas batangan.. tapi JIKA TAK PUNYA UANG banyak yang meninggal, karena badai sitokin ini sebabkan organ tubuh rusak... setelah selesai atau sembuh sel darah putih kembali menjadi sel darah merah normal... sehingga sel darah di tubuh menjadi merah dan putih kembali seperti asalnya, but it could be meaning of Indonesian flag, red and white to told a story about nationalism, how to all Indonesian people struggled against the pandemic
