Jim its finally where it needs to be.... one thing I learned as an east coast angler is that you do not change what mother nature creates..... you just fish it !!!
I am all for supporting the local guys but here are numerous online retailers that have bait holder circle hooks, including Eagle Claw. One thing I read about Eagle Claw is that the the snell is not tide effectively. The line comes through the back of the eye not out and up through the hook side. I just looked at some Gamakatsus rigged up that i bought and they come up through and out the hook side
Hopefully it stays like that come spring. Heck with wasting time and money on beach replenishment its a waste and it kills the good spots. Sorry to hear the news George.
I'll have an update for you this week on the 2020 bonus numbers, but I'm guessing that it will be the same as in 2020 - www.nj.gov/dep/fgw/bonusbas.htm (-JH)
For now that is correct unless you want to use a bucktail jig with a circle hook (which makes NO SENSE!) More info can be found here on this subject: www.thefisherman.com/asmfc-votes-yes-to-tube-and-worm-to-revisit-other-circle-hook-issues/ - T.Lapinski
Thoughts and prayers with you, George. Sorry to hear. Be well and looking forward to your return.
Great video Jim! Prayers out to George and his family 🙏🙏
Good report
Condolences George!
I’ve always used circles when throwing bait and have always had great hook ups and easy unhooking too. So I’m a fan of it

Let’s hope the idiots don’t start pumping sand in the spring
I've caught plenty of white perch with chicken liver !!!
Hopefully it stays like that come spring. Heck with wasting time and money on beach replenishment its a waste and it kills the good spots.

Does anyone know when or if the bonus tags will be available this year?
I was thinking the same thing

So I won't be able to use pork rinds in n.y???
