i went to the same high school as madeleine, and we were in some shows together in the theater department. not only is she incredible talented (as is lily), but she's incredibly kind too. it's amazing to see someone i knew from school come this far!

What still knocks me out is, these young ladies only started performing in live venues about a year ago. Love the line "Near the cider mill orchard, I stopped my walking along the path." So soothing and visual - "I will bloom where I was planted long ago." Just thought of that line walking into my house - the crocuses are blooming! - right where I planted them long ago. These sisters are absolutely timeless. Beautiful, poetic music. I dig the hell out of their simple, yet lush, style.

They started out doing exactly what you are doing; simple, barebones, yet high quality videos of both covers and originals. They consistently put out a new one every week or two for a couple years and eventually they caught on with fans all over the world. Their name is Boyce Avenue. Have you heard of them? Boyce Avenue has nothing on Lily & Madeleine.. please don't compare them and/or encourage them to follow Boyce Avenue's steps... I'm not saying Boyce Avenue is bad, but Lily & Madeleine's music seems much more honest and heartfelt and it'd be nice to see them keep it that way instead of doing covers for popularity's sake
