As a German I say it should only be up to the Ukrainian people to decide this and Germany should stay out of it. However, the problem is that at the moment expressing "the will of the people" is impossible in Ukraine, as Zelensky's term in office has expired, but no elections are held because of the war. As there is no end of the war in sight, democracy has basically been suspended indefinitely. The carnage goes on, the people have no say, and Zelensky can do what he wants, or probably in reality what the NATO countries want him to do, as Ukraine is now totally dependent on their finance.
Don't vote for Olaf Scholz. Help him get defeated against his opponent.

Germans need to do more to make him feel the political heat for his policies. That's a small country, it's easy to mobilize protesters and there is already a lot of anger with the Berlin regime due to a recession, rising unemployment and high energy prices.
