1. Stop trading heavy quantities
2. Stop watching news
3. Stop listening to other traders.
4. Stop staring at you MTM (Don't look too much on the fluctuation of P&L)
5. Stop romancing unrealistic numbers
6. Stop carrying baggage. (if previous loss happened forget it)
7. Stop comparing with other traders

Yes sir, completely agree with you. Yesterday I sold 40900 put before the RBI policy but I didn't hold the trade I was looking MTM and In emotions I only booked 28 points and the option expired worthless.
The very fact that you have realized your mistake and working on it,means you are on right path.
I sold the same option, but after policy..as doing so before policy would have been kind of gambling..

1 thing which helped me improve is stop listening to daily commentary from youtubers on what happened and what will happen in Nifty, this has created a bias in my mind during trading, Now I only follow price action.

I am breakout trader and in recent times breakout fails at top frequently and it sustain at support most, reason why I am loosing bcoz of my brocker like zerodha, mstock, angle, my limit order they placed as market. How a breakout trader survive in these situation. Please help me if any have suggestion.
