Leute ich kann nicht mal in Worte fassen wie viel es mir bedeutet dass dieses Buch so so gut verfilmt wurde. Die Buchreihe ist eine meiner allerliebsten und gerade wenn man die Historie der deutschen Buchverfilmungen meiner Lieblingsbücher (hust Kerstin Gier hust) betrachtet, hatte ich echt ein bisschen Angst vor dem Ergebnis, aber es ist SO. GUT. Die meisten Charaktere sind einfach direkt aus dem Buch gesprungen, hallo?? My boy Alistair, Lydia, Graham, Ember und natürlich Ruby und James sind einfach absolut perfekt besetzt. Und dann ist das Ganze auch noch so buchgetreu. Ich heule. Ich hab echt teilweise bei Szenen einfach losgeheult weil ich sie aus dem Buch wiedererkannt hab, zB als Pippa reinkam oder das mit dem übermäßig geilen Stecher :D danke an alle Beteiligten, ein Traum ist wahr geworden ❤️
Finds auch absolut abgefahren welch hohe Wellen das jetzt international schlägt :D
ENG: I cannot put into words how much it means to me to have one of my favourite books of all time adapted like this. It's so close to the book, almost everyone is cast perfectly and it's just PERFECT and AMAZING. Thank you to everyone involved to making this dream come true and bringing Save Me to the big screen with the love, attention and devotion it deserves ❤️ now I'm hoping for a second and third season!

There is a scene in the film at the welcoming party where James and Alistair are at the staircase looking down and james takes pictures of ruby talking to Mr. Sutton, and Alistair says to James, "I knew you you were secretly into brunettes," and James smirks. Is that true in the books that James like brunettes?

It's actually never specified if he has a type, I don't think he minds the hair colour or has a certain preference :) in the books, he takes the pictures as a sort of backup (he deliberately takes them so that it seems like Ruby and Mr Sutton are in a compromising position) so that he has something to threaten/blackmail her with, should she decide to spill Lydia's secret!

@@fabricofdreams. That's right ...I forgot that nobody knows Lydia's secret at this point except James and Ruby ...so Alistair thought he was into brunettes but he was just trying to threaten her with pics! 😂 Thanks! I also just discovered that James and Lydia are twins, and Lydia came out first.
