This video covers medical-surgical nursing, psych nursing, OB nursing, pediatric nursing, and fundamentals of nursing. I take my nclex tomorrow, I have been mixing watching your videos with taking practice tests and questions... your opening prayers have been so emotional for me. I found myself crying, talking to God the other day after I had to pause your video post opening prayer.

Just say "| haven't passed yet." Don't take it as a failure but see it as a learning opportunity. There is a lot of power in "Yet"; you are telling yourself that you will get there and that your eyes and heart are still fixed on your goal

I started watching your videos about a week before I took my Hesi Exit Exam! I failed the first time and I prayed for God to send me in the right direction for help. When you began with a prayer, I knew I was at the right place and he sent me there! I made a 755 on my first exam and I made a 1072 on my second exam! Your videos are God sent! Keep doing your amazing work! I will definitely be watching videos for NCLEX!

Thanks for sharing your WEALTH of knowledge. I really appreciate what you do. I need to review prior to class. I am in my final semester and the ENTIRE program was lackluster at best. You reinforced what I already know as an LPN of 15 years which made this challenging for me to separate real practice from textbook.

Hi Nexus. I had my NCLEX exam yesterday. I finished my exam in 75 questions and I'm waiting for my results. While I was taking the exam, I was seeing you explaining in the monitor especially on topics of Delegations and priorities. It's not that I'm hallucinating while taking the exam but most of the time I'm asking myself what would nexus tell about this questions. I hope I pass the exam. Thanks

low ESR blood level means that the person's body is not able to fight against a disease as effectively as it could. This can lead to a number of health problems, such as heart disease, stroke, and some types of cancer.

Although you are correct, digoxin will decrease the rate, you do not withhold digoxin unless the apical heart rate is less than 60bpm in an adult client. However, with every digoxin order, there are almost always parameters to follow with the order on the MAR.

For nursing exams to hold if it is 60 bc you expect it to drop after administration.

The one with the dig administration at 60 is confusing to me. I’ve had several ATI tests state that although is low, it is still allowable to give dig as 60 considered normal. Below 60, 59, 58 etc, you should hold. NCLEX soon, PLEASE HELP

I do have a question about a question which was : the nurse should assess the client with severe diarrhea for which acid base imbalance? and the correct answer was metabolic acidosis, why wouldn't the answer be metabolic alkalosis? we know base ( acid) comes out the butt, but how would you learn about alkalosis & what system that affects?

If they are losing base thru diarrhea the body ph is going to become more acidic. Base is alkaline. You lose alkaline u become acidic. And since gi issues aren't respiratory, it's going to be metabolic.

A full-term, 24-hour-old infant in the nursery regurgitates and suddenly turns cyanotic. Which immediate intervention should the PN implement?
    A. Stimulate the infant to cry
    B. Give oxygen by positive pressure
    C. Suction the oral and nasal passages
    D. Turn the infant onto the right side
What is the answer for this question? I think C but not sure
