Not only is Brendan probably the best kicker in all of college football (and will surely be the best in the NFL one day soon), he is also one of the nicest and most humble people you will ever meet. He is just a fantastic human all the way around, one of those special people who makes the world a better place just by being in it.
My longest punt in HS was 62 yds, longest field goal was 51 yds!!! I thought I was a decent kicker/punter but this dude is unreal, hope he goes wherever he wants!!! God Bless n good luck buddy!!! Stay healthy
@marcd1981 Colleges and players reached a recent agreement. Players will get a good % of the football game income. I ran rough math on a high end top 10 team, its as much as $20,000 per season. Less for the non-ranked/smaller fan base teams. That's not going to make the athlete rich. It will help buy a vehicle, cover food, clothing, furniture, etc while they're in college. Google < net worth of college head coach ______ >, you'll see the fraud with your own eyes. College football is absolutely Semi Pro
it would be soo valuable to an NFL team to have a player who not just plays but excels at two different special team positions and frees up a roster space for another position. hope to see this kid make it someday soon.
Dan Pastorini en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Pastorini. Dan Pastorini was a qb with Houston Oilers that also punted eliminating the need for a punter during his time with the oilers.
Guy was kicking every kickoff out of the end zone. I was just there last week for parents weekend. Watched the team kill Idaho. My daughter just started college here.
Watching the kicker/punter and long snapper hang out reminded me of what John Madden said years ago. He said that if you want to be an NFL player who stays in the league the longest, be one of the three! Kickers, punters and especially long snappers keep their jobs because they are so specialized and needed! They may not make top QB or RB money, but they will have an income long after many have come and gone! Good luck Brendan Hall!
He's just a sophomore at Montana State, a smaller football program that doesn't get much publicity. Believe me, you will be hearing a lot about him after a couple of years.
The way things are going almost all kickers in the NFL are going to be great guys like this are coming out every year maybe not his size but they can kick
When you actually think about it, there is a reason why the golfers who hits the longest drives, have drivers with longer shafts. In fishing the longer the casting pole, the farther the distance thrown. It's relative to how long his legs are, the arc and diameter would be similar.
My wife and I went to this stadium a couple years ago for a Kenny Chesney concert, and it was amazing. The people were awesome. I would love to go back and watch these guys play football.
Big Montana Grizzlies fan here! He had some hype because of his size & leg power but didn’t live up to it, at least as a kicker anyways. Lost his starting kicking job after going 6-12 on field goals this season (1-4 from 30-39 yards & 1-4 from 40-49 yards) They needed him, especially after losing to NDSU because the kicker that took his job, got his PAT blocked at the line in OT that would have sent the game into double OT but instead ended their season 😂
UNDER PRESSURE. IN THE PROS MAKING BIG BUCS. IS TRULY PRESSURE. TO DEAL WITH IN THE FUTURE. GOOD LUCK, GOD BLESS, YOU CAN DO IT. !!!! GO FOR IT. LET IT ALL HANG OUT TO BE THE BEST KICKER EVER !!!!!!!!!!!! 😁👌👌🙏😇♥️
That is awesome! I really don't understand why there are not more kickers that are considered tall . I mean the guy is blessed with talent but like the one kid mentioned, that unprecedented distance is physics and leverage.
IF he stays healthy - He Will sell tickets for the NFL. Spectators will attend ONLY to witness his LONG punts & kicks. “Truly believe EVERY TIME he takes the field, history will unfold.” ~ C🏈NGRATS IN ADVANCE. ~ “i would pay to watch him.”
It’s a matter of time before some monster leg splits the uprights for 70 yards in game. This kid has the ability just needs an opportunity. Two other kickers in the Big12 currently have ability as well. Hopefully we see 70 yard kick soon.
When I saw the post, my first thought was a lot of kickers could do that. The problem is that from that distance, they are easily blocked by the defense line. Now, seeing the rate time it takes for the ball to get high enough to not get block is crazy fast. So, either this guy is something else, or someone did some nice AI digital work
You need to go play at the BIG HOUSE in Ann Arbor for over 100,000 people EVERY home game. I'm sure you could get a NIL deal and play at ANY Power 5 conference school. I hope you make it to the NFL.
There is a huge difference between kicking that far in practice and kicking that far during a game. I think he would get his kicks blocked in a game from that distance
Surprised no top 25 programs wanted him. His proportions are crazy. He doesnt appear or move like a guy that big. I feel he can def. Kick and punt in NFL Also he could probably be good at Australian rules football if this dont work out! 😃
Another super tall American Mason Cox is playing in AFL. Like this guy he also started out in soccer but he ended up playing one season of college BBall at OKState.
Guys, he's not even the backup kicker for montana state, take a deep breath. He's not getting enough to show up in stats because Montana State is killing it, but he'd about 8th in average punt distance in the FCS.
I’m pretty sure not a single kicker in NFL history has kicked a 75 yard field goal with huge men coming at them. So the answer is probably no one including this kid from Montana State. A 60 yard field goal is already difficult enough to make much less 75. It’s actually amazing how pressure can massively reduce the power of a kicker if they want to be accurate. The current record in an NFL game is 66 yards set by Justin Tucker.
@@acehole9100 a man of culture i see. If he can run well he’d be a good prospect. Still gotta learn the passing technique and all but i bet someone would give him a tryout.
Dude yakked a short field goal against Idaho last year that would have tied the game... Vandals ended up winning 24-21... Big leg, maybe, but accuracy?
Now I'm wondering when the NCAA will change the kickoff rules for their games like the NFL did. No kick returns gets boring for the fans, so the NFL has their new kickoff plan to have returns again.
Nope hes taller than the rushers, they can't reach the ball. I'm 5' 6" and they blocked many of my kicks. The ball is smaller too when you're that big and harder to see for people rushing the punter. Long legs are a huge advantage.
6ft 8inches, 6-9 with cleats. Will Brendan Hall get drafted in the NFL? Yes. Why should football fans care? A Kicker/Punter that's 6-8 is a first in all of football. Ravens Kicker Justin Tucker, Ray Guy Hall Of Fame Punter & Tom Dempsey are/were the current best in the NFL. Justin kicked a record 66yard field goal that's the current FG record. Brendan transferred from private college Southern Methodist Univ near Dallas Texas. Grew up in Springtown Texas. Will YouRube outlaw blaring music during narration? Yes.

I was his backup and replacement when he left high school. One of the most laid back and chill guys you’ll meet
