Once upon a time celestial had no concentration or expertise, and people were still EXTREMELY strong with trailblazers and a bit of boon duration mixed in. I think condi builds will be completely fine and can probably get away with still running cele anyway. But thats just my 2 cents! Good vid dude.
I think some people were hoping that this would be a return to vanilla when Celestial was widely regarded as underwhelming, but as you said in our conversation the other day the build variety is much higher now than back in the day. Cele is still going to be a powerful tool for roaming, it just won't be the be-all and end-all for condi or hybrid builds.
Yep, absolutely true. I am the first witness to this after all... you where with me when i was finishing the final touches and the end conclusion was that in the end, thanks to the many ways i have to adapt, i can still go MOSTLY celestial and in fact is the stronger option!🤟
Thanks for the video man. With staff/shortbow not doing power dmg, wouldn't it be better to go trailblazer or something instead of celestial? (Now that there's also not expertise in cele...) 😄

And the whole thing of the build as i explain more or less in the video, is that for HYBRID play-style it is the strongest option, after testing all the possible combinations. We do have a decent amount of power, specially when we ramp up some might. combined with very solid condi damage and crit chance thanks to fury, paired with very respectable crit damage and extra damage through life leech... yep, Mostly celestial is still the way to go. On the other hand, if i wanted to do a FULL CONDI, without the hybrid component... then yes, probably Trailblazers and something something would be the absolute best! But then we are talking about a completely different build. I hope this helps!!😁
@@vipanez5728 Well, if they removed that then they would have to tune up some other stats, otherwise remove cele from WvW complitely (i would be okay with this)😂🙌

they should remove vitality and toughness from celestial. thats the main problem of this stat combination. But i think anet cant remove this.
