Thank you for doing this video, I purchase the other Epson printer to convert, but I sent it back when I saw how much extra I needed buy. My L1800 printer arrived 4 days ago and my L1800 is a little different in the form fit but very similar. My printer did not come with video instruction, just written instruction, so thanks for your unboxing video. Yours is a little nicer and i did not have a temp setting and my waste tank is situated along side the other ink. There is a heater on the platform where the film comes out. I received only one syringe and I had to wash out after each color. My setup did not come with an oven, I plan on using my 16 x 20 swing away heat press.

How do you feel about the printer now that you have had it for awhile? It is time for me to upgrade from my 8550 and am considering ordering this one but dont want it have the issues I have currently. The phantom paper jams with the 8550 are such a headache.

Greetings from Chicago. I came across your channel and almost immediately became a fan of yours. We have the exact same model. I'm playing around with the software and yet I still haven't used it. It's been a year. I'm trying to get a better understanding of how to put everything away once I'm not using it. I was told that it has to run every day. But when I'm not using this machine is the thing. Can you please upload a better understanding tutorial on how to put everything away so I can avoid dried up clogging and everything. I'm guessing you would do everything in reverse order. Sounds simple but I'm very cautious when I make big investments. You're greatly appreciated. And yes , I have subscribed to your channel. I purchased the procolored moisturizing device also with extra inks. Its suppose to aide with it from drying out and when you don't or just can't print as often as suppose to print.

Hello I just watched the video… beautiful. I believe you said you used a 13x19 film however when I look up the size for an a3 is only states 11x17. What size film actually comes with the L1800 from procolored?
Thank you! 11x17 came with this one...but, you can use 13x19 film with it also. I've used 13x19 sheets with it.

Hello! I ordered this printer through your code and unfortunately I have had so many problems, maybe its complete operator error, but I have never been able to get the white to print. I have reached out to customer service with very little assistance, they are sending a new print head, i guess i will see if that fixes things. I would love to get some feedback on what I could be doing wrong. How do you do a printhead cleaning or printa test page? Any help you can give to help make this rather costly excursion beneficial to me would be sooooo appreciated!

I keep it on. Occassionally, I'll turn it off.
How is the maintenance? Do you have to clean it everyday?
yes...a printhead cleaning per day. I haven't had any major issues yet. It's been a little over a month since I've been using it.

I haven’t experienced that issue. Have you contacted ProColored? They will help you troubleshoot.

So after you've had the dtf Procolored printer, which, between the sublimation hack, the printer converted to DTF, and the actual DTF Printer, which is most cost effective per print, has the lowest cost for supplies, produces the best print, the lowest start-up, and the most versatility for applications.
I would go with the L1800. However, I still consider it an entry level DTF printer.

No, I did not. You can use Cadlink with it, though.

I’m gonna use Cadlink because I’m more accustomed to their software. They sent me “DTG Rip” and I’m not liking it at all. Not as user friendly.
@@whatstheteemorebyrocexpres3047 I've used both Cadlink and DTG Rip. I like Cadlink better. However, I have learned DTG Rip (which is AcroRip) and it works fine. It's kind of like when I used Cadlink for the first time. Out of the 2, I do prefer Cadlink. However, everyone should know that using a RIP software outside of what they sent, will cost additional.
