Chris sat next to me at the bar between sets.and I got to interact with both of them. Down to earth great people, I thought to myself I have to remember this guys name because some day he is gonna make it big...

I have to say I have never been a country fan but his voice is absolutely incredible. The more I listen, the more I like his music. It's rare nowadays to hear an artist sing live and have it be better than the CD.
I'm not a country fan either, but Stapleton is unique.

My favorite song which they sing together is Amanda. I love for the day when CMA wakes up and stops excluding people of color so that Chris, Morgane and Beyonce sings Amanda. Then go into a medley tribute to Keith Whitley, Verne Gosdin, Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn...🎉🎉 *Chills*

We went to see Hank Jr in Tampa and Chris Stapleton was one of the opening acts. I was absolutely blown away by Chris and Morganes vocals. The dude is a phenomenal singer and truly down to earth. "Meeting heros is awesome, as long as its a good experience."
I just love them both, they are real and a picture of God's true love.

Chris Stapleton is one of the Johnny Cash's of our generation. He is a fascinating, almost mysterious, figure and a great musician.
Johnny however, wasn't a great musician. He might end on three instead of four, and couldn't really pick. But he did have the man in black persona. He did play the rebel well. His songs about and his respect to and from the common man were undeniable. The similarity I see is the relationship each had/has with their musical wives. Johnny and June, Chris and Morgane. The latter two have a ways to go to match the true lasting love of the former. But I think they will.
@@ebenclukey7293 I do agree that Johnny wasn't the greatest musician, but I hope you're not trying to downplay the skill he did have. The Man in Black persona didn't come about until the 70's, by then he was already a famous and established musician. I think his peak musicianship was in the '60s, shown by his concept albums, but there's no doubt he made good music, even if it wasn't technically perfect.
Back here today, to watch these two amazing talented souls, and simply can NOT get enough of them. Predicting they will go down as good as any duo we've ever had in the music industry. Love Chris and Morgane Stapleton and will share their LOVE for their music until I"m dropped into the six foot HOLE...Peace be with all of you.! Thanks Chris and Morgane with the "ane". lol

Have you heard Steeldrivers? That's the "real" country music. Bluegrass IS the root. Someone at some point slowed it down is all. Hes already done it and so have countless others. The future of Americana and the music of rural America now comes from Brent Cobb, Stapleton, Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, Red Shahan, Ryan Bingham, Alex Williams, Chris Knight etc etc etc. Everything changes, bud. Whether it changes for the better is the clinch. It has, is and will continue to change for the better. It's the buckle bunnies and the new age rhinestone cowboys who keep buying into the crap that Trashville keeps pushing to the radio.

I'm not really a big country fan, however I am a fan of truly soulful music. Mr. Stapleton you are in my humble opinion the best songwriter/singer I have ever been exposed to. I know that most songwriters write what they know and what they have experienced. If this is true, your poor heart and soil have been treated quiet roughly. Thank you for sharing it all. Your music has helped me clear my head and brought me back from some dark places at the hands of 1 hate filled ex. Thanks

Your song Joy of my life helped me fight to survive and get out of the hospital as the joy and love of my life was in another hospital. My nurse always said I should let you know how your song helped me I lived when Drs said I would die God said this was not so . Although Gary did not live. It still reminds me of him. Thank You

Saw them in Portland before he hit artist of the year. They did “Amanda” as an encore - and they killed it!! wonderful rendition, Morgane did a beautiful job.

My husband played guitar 🎸 in a lot of different bands and would sing sometimes. We meet when we were in high school sweethearts at 16 married have two beautiful daughters. Unfortunately my love passed away at age 47 from heart attack!! We miss him every single day!!!!🥰
