I just saw DPS in Lincoln NE on Tuesday night. I was blown away and so was the crowd. I showed up at the venue as a Highly Suspect fan and left looking forward to seeing DPS when they back in the area. For anyone that gets a chance to go see these guys, do yourself a favor and GO! Pau isn't a what, she's a who. She's from Monterrey Mexico though, not Whoville. Her full name is Paulina Villarreal Vélez, and she is the drummer in the mexican rock band The Warning, together with her sisters Daniela and Alejandra. She was on stage with DPS during this song a while back.

This is proll my favorite song from yall, the bridge to this song is painful, the line 'tired and afraid the reality of getting old' is incredibly depressing and true. Before we hit 10, we are confident that life after we become adults will be easy and we will be able to do whatever we want, when we're teens we know it will be effort but it will still work out fine, no matter how hard some people try, they cant make it out of a pit of debt, we make mistakes that no one in their right mind would think of as a mistake, this songs chorus 'Why the hell would you hurt yourelf for this', is kinda true, all of our pain is semi self inflicted, but it shouldnt be something anyone should experience. College should be a thousand times cheaper, healthcare should be free, the cost of living shouldnt be over 38 thousand per year, but it is. Its not a problem inherent in the person, its a problem inherent in the system, that beats almost to death when you dont play by its rules
It feels like the past shouted and embraced the present. I want to be a presence like this music for those who are struggling and frustrated in life today.

I just saw DPS in Lincoln NE on Tuesday night. I was blown away and so was the crowd. I showed up at the venue as a Highly Suspect fan and left looking forward to seeing DPS when they back in the area. For anyone that gets a chance to go see these guys, do yourself a favor and GO! Pau isn't a what, she's a who. She's from Monterrey Mexico though, not Whoville. Her full name is Paulina Villarreal Vélez, and she is the drummer in the mexican rock band The Warning, together with her sisters Daniela and Alejandra. She was on stage with DPS during this song a while back.
It's so funny. Most of us discovered DPS thanks to the recommendation of Paulina (Pau) from The Warning.

This is proll my favorite song from yall, the bridge to this song is painful, the line 'tired and afraid the reality of getting old' is incredibly depressing and true. Before we hit 10, we are confident that life after we become adults will be easy and we will be able to do whatever we want, when we're teens we know it will be effort but it will still work out fine, no matter how hard some people try, they cant make it out of a pit of debt, we make mistakes that no one in their right mind would think of as a mistake, this songs chorus 'Why the hell would you hurt yourelf for this', is kinda true, all of our pain is semi self inflicted, but it shouldnt be something anyone should experience. College should be a thousand times cheaper, healthcare should be free, the cost of living shouldnt be over 38 thousand per year, but it is. Its not a problem inherent in the person, its a problem inherent in the system, that beats almost to death when you dont play by its rules
